Andrew's POV – 2 October 2019

Funny how Christian could move from calling himself daddy to being a downright baby as soon as he learnt that I had to leave. We just arrived at home from school and he's making this so difficult for me...even though it's not supposed to be.

"Are you really going to leave your recovering boyfriend all alone?" he pouts. How he pulls off a dangerously sexy look one minute, and an overwhelmingly cute look the other, is nothing short of a miracle to me.

"I'm just going to see Jenny Christian, it's not like I'll be gone forever" I argue softly, and his lips pucker out even further. Cuteness overload!

"Take me with then" he says, with that cute look still on his face.

"Christian, don't make this hard..."

"I'm not making this hard" he expresses, "it's just that I've grown so accustomed to having you around me all day long and I can't imagine you not being here" he says seriously.

"But Ian you do understand that I've been crashing at your place, in your bed, eating your food, for well over a week?" I explain. "I can't keep doing that to you...plus, it's been a while since I've last seen Jenny."

"But I don't mind you using my things Andie. It's just that..." he breathes "...the house is really empty without Bella and I also don't want you to leave." At hearing those words, I knew I would be considered the world's most cruel person if I dared to leave this boy.

"Okay, how about this," I say, grabbing his attention as his eyes light up with hope. "Let me go to Jenny's for a few hours, just to catch up, then I'll come back here with more clothes so I can stay with you for longer." As soon as he hears my words, his smile flashes from ear to ear, and I would be lying if said seeing him beam didn't make me happy. Who would have thought that I'd get so much happiness from being in love, let alone with a man? Absolutely no one...well, besides Grandpa Pat but that's beside the point.

"So you'll be gone for a few hours, then you'll come back home? To me?" he asks, still beaming. Man there's something in the way he said home that just gives me a sense of comfort, a sense of belonging, and I can't be happier.

"Yes I'll come back to you, you big baby" I smile, unable to suppress my smile any further.

"You know I love you right?" he questions.

"Yes I do, and I love you too" I confirm, "now let me get going" I add, already rushing towards the front door, before remembering...

"How can I possibly forget this?" I wonder out loud, as I turn back and give my boyfriend a peck on the lips. "Bye now!" I run out.

///////

I stand outside the door of my aunt's house contemplating whether or not I should just walk in. I mean, it is my aunt's house after all and it would make sense if I just walked in. Where did you put your manners? What if you walk in and end up seeing something you weren't meant to...

The door swings open, interrupting my thoughts, and Jenny shakes her head disapprovingly.

"So if I didn't open this door you were never going to enter, were you?" she asks.

"Oh no- I-I mean y-yes I was" I say, laughing awkwardly.

"Whatever" she clicks her tongue jokingly, making room for me to enter the house before shutting the door behind us. "So, the husband finally let you go out?" she questions with a wide smile, confusing the living life out of me.

"Husband?"

"Yes, Christian." And as soon as she says his name, heat rises up to my cheeks, and I try by all means to scrunch up my face as much as possible to prevent the smile that's most certainly making its way up my face.
