Andrew's POV – 25 December 2019 (Wednesday – Christmas Day)
Christmas Day. A jolly day to spend with your close ones, listening to Christmas carols, baking cookies, making eggnog and playing in the snow, was about to become the day I wear myself out from nothing but excitement. I finally got the perfect gift for Christian and I can't wait for him to see it, not after having to keep it a secret for so long. Well, I may be exaggerating because it's only been a few days, but that's not the point! The point is, I'll finally be able to answer all the questions my boyfriend had posed truthfully.
'When you and Jenny leave me in the house alone, where do you go?' 'Are you secretly visiting your parents?' 'Are you ignoring me?"
The last question is a little bit of a stretch, but I totally understand why he'd think that...
"Thinking about your other ways to avoid me?" said boyfriend asks from behind me, giving me a quick peck on the cheek, before sitting down across me. There are so many reasons why I love Christian, but one of them is the fact that this boy couldn't stay mad at me even if his life depended on it. After securing his gift, I started spending some time away from him with the fear that I'd crack and break the news to him before Christmas. I mean, he had caught on my odd behavior and called me out, but he still couldn't be mad, let alone pretend to be mad...
"Silent treatment?" he questions, bringing me out of my stupor.
"Oh no Baby, I'm sorry."
"It's fine. Where's Jen? The house is fairly quiet without her" he expresses, making me smile. Gosh, they get along so well.
"She's going to pick up her man for our Christmas lunch. Apparently his engine is completely frozen" I add repeating what Jenny said to me before she left.
"How is that even possible?"
"I don't know..." I shrug "...but, I actually wanted to give you your gift before they come back..."
"I'm not breaking your aunt's no humping policy" he states firmly, shaking his head for emphasis.
"What makes you think I'd gift you with sex?"
"I don't know, maybe because I want it?" he says confidently, and those words have my jeans getting a little tighter as my member stirs to life.
"Maybe later?" I ask, making Ian reach across the table to grab my arm.
"Here?"
"Possibly? But we have to go because your gift is not here" I respond, before standing up with a chuckle and grabbing a jacket, and Christian follows suit.
"You don't know what you do to me Mr. Roberts" he says with his sexy deep voice, placing his hands on my waist and pulling my body closer to his.
"If I do to you, what you do to me then I have a perfect idea of what I do to you Mr. King" I smile, not even attempting to prevent the smile from breaking out on my face. "But we can have sex later, this gift is not gonna wait for us" I state, grabbing his hand and walking out into the cold with him.

"Baby, where are we going?" Christian asks for the 100th time, and much like the past 99 times, I just shrug and keep leading the way deeper and deeper into the woods. "Had you taken me this deep into the woods earlier on in our relationship, I would be convinced you're trying to kill me."
"What makes you think I wouldn't kill you now?"
"See?" he exclaims. "When I talk about things that don't concern where we're going you answer me, but as soon as I ask about where we're headed you keep quiet" he huffs, then pouts...and unlike Jenny, his pouting actually has a massive impact on me because he's so freaking adorable.
"What that means Ian is that you're not supposed to ask. Stop trying to ruin the surprise for yourself" I smile at him reassuringly, and he just sighs and hangs his head, as we continue to walk in comfortable silence.
"And you didn't answer my question" I remind him.
"What question?"
"What makes you think I wouldn't kill you now?"
"Well, not to be cocky or anything, but I'm confident that you tolerate me a lot better than you did when our friendship began, and you've fallen deeply and madly in love with me as we spend more and more time together" he explains, and I feel my cheeks heat up instantly at his words.
"That sounds very cocky to me" I joke, making him laugh, his brown eyes glistening in the snow covered environment. "I never asked you this but I've always been curious...when Mrs. Ramirez paired us up together, I always got the sense that you were already interested in me. Is that the right assumption?"
"Well, I honestly thought you were cute" he clarifies, making me smile uncontrollably as more heat rises up to my cheeks. I bet my face is so red, it could be used as a freaking stop sign. "Were you interested?" he turns the question on me.
"I didn't even know I could like boys, let alone love one before we were paired together. I remember how livid I was when that monster of a teacher paired us up together because I couldn't imagine working with you, if only I knew that you'd be so addicting...gosh I would have asked you out sooner."
"I'm like that food item you're super skeptical to try at first, but as soon as you have it, you automatically don't see yourself living without it" he laughs, linking our fingers together.
"You couldn't have said it bet..."
"Oh my goodness, what?!" Christian interrupts wide eyed. "Is this what I think it is? You booked an entire cabin so we could have some steamy time alone? You're so naughty and I love it!" he jumps around excitedly, before stopping abruptly as if something just dawned on him. "Where did you get the money to book this? Was it from Jenny?" he questions quickly, not even giving me an opportunity to answer.
"Relax Ian, nothing was from Jenny" I explain with a smile.
"Then where did you get the money to..." he gestures to the cabin before us with his hands.
"I didn't rent that."
"Did you buy it?" he asks, his eyes growing wider by the second.
"No, I didn't buy it."
"Is it Paul's?"
"It's ours" I answer seriously, and if I thought his eyes couldn't get any wider, I was wildly incorrect.
"What?" he asks, his voice cracking a little bit, as tears swell up in his eyes, and I wasn't so sure if that was due to the bad weather, or just downright emotion.
"My grandpa left us a home Christian" I feel tears swell up in my own eyes as well at the sight of my boyfriend. His bottom lip quivers, clearly not out of cold weather but out of the emotion we felt at that moment. After being chased away from the places we knew as homes, Grandpa Pat helped me give Christian the perfect Christmas gift. A home. A warm place to come back to. A place to find refuge in. A safe haven. Our safe haven...and before I knew it, I was engulfed in a massive hug, as he released an almost relieved sob on my shoulder. He had been stressing about a lot of things, and this would help us be kids for just a little bit longer. Fuck the one bedroom apartment on the other side of town, we've got ourselves a cozy cabin and I couldn't be happier...
"Thank you so much Babe, and thank you to your grandpa too."
"It's no problem Love...welcome home" I add, pulling out of his warm embrace so I could get a better look at my man.
My eyes remain on his for a few seconds, before he finally decides to link my lips with his, in a time-stopping kiss...
