Andrew's POV – 26 August 2019 (Monday)

Funny how things can change overnight. Just a few days ago I had a car, a comfortable house, a king size bed, a tree house and a grandpa, and now I have neither. My grandpa has passed, my tree house was demolished, I was kicked out and now I'm in my aunt's basement, laying on a single bed, that didn't ease the pain that I feel. Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but that's just the reality of my life.

I get off the bed and stretch, while wiggling my fingers. The cast really made my fingers stiff so I need to play with them ever so often. And if you're wondering, yes, my father really broke my arm and my nose on Saturday. Can I still call him that? My father? I mean his actions really weren't that of a father, so...

"Andrew?" my aunt calls making her way, down into the basement. "Oh, you're up already!" she beams "I just wanted to check if you were up, I need to drive you to school." See what I meant when I spoke about change? I moved from being my 'friends' personal chauffeur, to being the one that gets driven around. Damn, I'll miss my car. "Hey," she gets closer to me, touching my good arm comfortingly "everything will be okay. Don't let it affect you so much."

I look at my aunt closely, and wonder if everything will ever be okay with the way things are. If there's anything that this past weekend proved to me is that things can move from bad to worse in a short period of time, and I can't help but drag what today has in store for me.

"Okay" I respond, after taking my sweet time.

"Alright! I'll give you some time to prepare" she says, making her way up the stairs again, before stopping in the middle and adds, "Make sure you grab a jacket for school because there's a high chance that it might rain today" and as if on cue, the thunder rumbles. "See?" she laughs. "Let me let you do your thing" she exits.

Better get started, I guess.

Olivia's POV

"Olivia, we've been best friends for so long and I thought I knew you, but now I don't know whether or not you're being serious about this" Cassie raises her concerns.

"You can bet your ass I'm serious" I state seriously. Cassie has the nerve to question me about all this when she's the one that exposed me to Andrew. So now she must prove how trustworthy she can be, by helping me carry out my plan.

"But you do understand how badly this can end?" Jeremy questions. Can they stop questioning me for once?

"And they deserve it!" I yell. After all the embarrassment that Andrew put me through, he deserves what I'm about to do to him. About what I'm about to do to his 'new best friend'. "Speak of the devil and he shall appear" I say with a smirk, after I see Christian's car drive past us. "Let's get to work before we get drenched even more."

Andrew's POV

Oh my goodness, thank you Lord for the rain because I'm pretty sure that if it wasn't raining all eyes would be on me. Aunt Jenny insisted on dropping me off inside the school, not outside like most parents would and I'm pretty sure if people saw this, a lot of conversation would arise. So as soon as she drives, I run towards the entrance, trying to get into the shelter that the school building would provide from the rain. I make it through the double doors and see the hallway littered with students, and I pull my hoodie up, hiding my face and shielding me from the prying eyes of the pupils at Sunny View.

I walk down the corridor towards my locker, before I am stopped by someone's hands covering my eyes. Who the hell is that and can't they see that I am in no mood to play. Not today! Not anytime soon.
