Christian's POV – 29 July 2019 (Monday)

"Isabella, are you ready?" I ask, entering my sister's bedroom.

"Why are you so loud on a Monday morning, my goodness" she complains.

"Why shouldn't I be loud, huh?" I question loudly, just to annoy her.

"Gosh Christian, you're giving me a headache. You shouldn't be so happy because you slept so late yesterday."

"Wait, I went to bed long after you were supposed to be sleeping" I say looking at her in suspicion.

"Well, how am I supposed to sleep when you were busy on your phone with your girlfriends?" she sasses.

Oh yeah, ever since Friday Andrew and I have been talking non-stop, whether it's over text messages or him calling me, or the other way around.

"See! Your cheeks are changing colors!" she expresses. "When am I meeting her?"

"Who?" I laugh.

"The girl that's keeping you up at night!"

"Well, let me ask you this first..." I pause, "...who said it's a girl?" I ask, already walking out of her bedroom.

"Wait! Christian! What do you mean by that? Are you seeing a boy?" she questions, chasing after me.

"We're gonna be late Bella, just get ready."

"I am ready, just tell me who he is. Or show me his picture. Please." I can't help but chuckle at her eagerness.

"Okay, let's head out."

"So you're really not gonna tell me?" she asks, sticking out her bottom lip. Isn't she a bit old to be giving me the puppy eyes?

"Not yet...let's go" I say, grabbing my backpack, with Bella following closely behind me, and we walk out of the house, locking the door behind us.

"When though?"

"Soon, as soon as I tell him how I feel."

"Okay, you really love him, don't you?" she asks.

"Woah, hold on. I don't think love is the suitable word here" I laugh.

"But..."

"No buts, get in the car" I say sternly.

"Okay" she sighs, and slides into the backseat of the car, ready to start our journey.

The bell just rang signaling the beginning of the lunch hour, and I must say, I am over the freaking moon. I regret leaving the house on an empty stomach. But that's what a person does when their mind is always occupied. You forget to do important things because your mind is always elsewhere. I mean I only realized when I got here that I didn't eat, so now I'm rushing to the cafeteria...

"Hey Christian," oh I know that voice well too well. I mean, I am supposed to know it after spending most of the night listening to it.

"Hi Andrew, how are you?" I greet back as Andrew comes to stand next to me.

"I'm okay, not complaining" he says with a nod. "Why weren't you in the History class today?"

"Perks of being a late comer. Your Principal saw fit to keep all of the late comers in the hall for the first two periods as punishment" I state, shaking my head.

"Why were you late in the first place because you don't live that far away from the school?" he asks.

"I know I don't, but you don't have a choice but to be late when your sister spends her morning asking her older brother about his love life and the guy he likes" I laugh.
