When we arrived at lion's landing, the troops were only beginning to mobilize, we froze them in their tracks as the celestial being we rode swept pay them, vanishing when my feet touched the ground.

The flow of tears had stopped, only rage was left. It blurred my judgement, I spent hours screaming at healers, begging them to save the prince while Jaina and Varian took a calmer, but no less desperate approach.

When my demands were unable to be met, I retreated to the corner of the room, where I sat alone, preparing myself for the worst. A flash of light here, shamanic healing wave there, nothing seemed to work.

Some attempted to interview me to determine what aproaches to take, but I found myself unable to speak. "The bell fell on him with such force, I heard the crunch of every single bone in his body breaking, his cries in agony and the heartbreaking silence after. I thought he was gone." I wanted to tell them, but I didn't want to further crush the spirits of the residence of Lion's landing.

For months this miserable base suffered many heavy losses. In the morning sirens sounded bombings, in the afternoon there were attacks on the beach front, and in the evenings the docks prepared for the worst the Horde naval fleets could bring. Many of their genius strategies lead to inevitable doom, the blood on my hands for sharing these plans with Nazgrim. With the recent loss of Valurine, many had simply lost the will to go on. Anduin could not die, they can't take another crippling blow, I can't, either.

When all hope seemed lost, the most venerable priest in the alliance made an appearance, Anduin's mentor the profit Velen himself arrived to save the prince. I watched in disbelief as the gentle Draenei bathed Anduin in the light for what seemed to be hours. I was mesmerized by the beauty, and stunned in fear that it still would not be enough, that the broken body would ever rise again.

Many walked in and out, watching for a few moments before leaving, checking on me, offering blankets and comfort. I could tell by the faces they made as they looked at him that it wasn't getting much better.

Raven was the only one who could comfort me. As she nudged up against me I begun to see what she had really been through the night Valurine died. Patches of fur were missing around her neck where the chains held her back, and there were a few scars on her side. Oh Raven, had they pulled a knife on you? I was so caught up in my search for revenge for Valurine I had forgotten her. I gently stroked her charcoal coat, waiting out the storm.

Velen motioned towards me, "Come here, child." He commanded gently, "Do not be afraid."

Trembling, I took his hand, "Y-you're the profit. Anduin's told me so much about you." I recalled the story about his vision of Anduin in the future, a knight in shining armor, and a smile briefly broke through the sadness.
"He's going to make it, isn't he?"

Velen chuckled, "Of corse he is, child. You did the right thing, going after him, you must know that."

"I also did a lot of things wrong..." I confessed. If I had only held it together a moment longer and given the letter to Varian myself.

"You did everything you could, the rest was out of your control. I've heard so much about you, you were a friend of Valurine's?" The profit spoke slowly, every word sounded powerful, yet gentle at the same time. I nodded humbly, forcing myself to look him in the eyes.
"He's going to live, I promise. He will never completely heal, there will always be remnants of the pain, but he will live." He assured me.

"Thank you, I needed to hear that."

Velen smiled, "I had a vision of a future archmage, her face I did not recognize. She baffled me for the longest time, her use of arcane magic so unlike any other Mage I've ever seen... she used a bow to wield it, focusing it into ammo with the strength of a thousand arrows. It was beautiful, but dangerous. Her name was Sarah.
I have been searching for the girl for five years, following many dead ends, not a single young mage came anywhere near her description, and then I heard of a young hunter named Sarah had been escorting one of my brightest students. I couldn't believe my ears when Jaina told me about your use of arcane, it is nice to finally meet you."
