(Private Aiden Berwisk)

"Enough! I said no and my decision is final."

"I thought you cared for Anduin." Jaina was testing his patience. The two of them had both grown accustom to one thing, authority, and it clashed.

"You've changed much, Jaina." Varian responded. Though skilled at hiding it, he knew all to well who held the upper hand in the argument.

"Have I?"

"Every day you sound more and more like-"

"Don't." a new boundary was established between the two. A thick line was drawn between what could be spoken, and what could not.

A member of the guard stood next to me, she appeared to be just as experienced as I, hair growing grey at the roots. She gave me a look as if to say, "This happens a lot." clearly she has been in the throne room for a long time. I, however, have always stood politely outside. Jaina insisted I join, thinking perhaps I would help her cause.

"Anduin is just a boy. You've seen him with a weapon, it's laughable! How dare you suggest everything is fine, he's dead for all we know. We need backup, a search party, anything."

"I understand your concern, Jaina, but-"

"But what? Do you honestly think he's alright? That he's in someone's care?"

"I am not about to loose another ship of elite men! What happened was a tragedy, Anduin was not supposed to be there, nor will he stay there much longer. I have already sent a small vessel of veterans to fetch my son. Once I have men prepared and a report back, then I will make a move." The king snapped, silencing her franticness.

"Very well, then. Come, Aiden, let us get some lunch. Sorry to keep you."

"All is good, Lady Proudmore."

As we walked out, I spotted the guard I had stood next to run up to the king. "My friends and I would gladly be on that ship, sir."

"I'm afraid we need more than that, Lainie."

"Oh, of corse."

"When the time comes, we will bring an army, and I will be on that ship."

"But sir-"

"Someone's got to keep things in check, and afraid Jaina is incapable of that at the moment."

(Sarah)

Mornings have become routine. I always got up before Anduin, much earlier. Perhaps it's because I'm having an easier time falling asleep. After all, I've spent more nights in a tent than a bed in my days. It felt like home.

Anduin, on the other hand, would stay up later than me. I'm not sure how long, but I've been awaken more than once by his mumbling, or the occasional accidental nudge from his stretching. He tosses and turns quite a bit, as I've noticed every morning when I have to wiggle out from under his arm, doing my best not to wake him. I don't know why he does it, but I've grown accustom to it.

And as the days before, I would go out, kill something, cook it, and wait for Anduin to wake up. Most mornings were eggs. I've had some bizarre experiences with eggs lately. I would be out, hunting for something, anything other, then it seemed as if someone was throwing them at me. As to who it was, I had no idea. I doubted it was any of the Pandaren, they don't seem like the type to egg someone, especially me. Besides, who would throw an egg at me lightly enough for it to remain in tact? It was a poorly thought out explanation, really, but what else could explain the anomaly?

Today was no exception. Two, medium sized, with a pinkish tint. It's like they were just falling out of the trees in my presence, practically raining down on us. It's rained nearly every night here, only a few nights have been clear. The view makes up for it, though, one could not imagine a prettier night sky.
