Raven turned out more obedient than I had hoped. She was no longer afraid like her brothers and sisters around her. She was now ready to fight, ready to kill, a fellow huntress in this new land.

Hunters are able to tame beasts because they understand their nature. You are either one of two things: predator or prey. The objective of life was to stay the predator. We understand the beast's way of survival, allowing them to understand ours. Once that connection is made, the beast will follow wherever you desire to lead. Raven and I met in a prey situation, and it was time to go from hunted to hunter.

I dashed tree to tree, bush to bush, using blind spots to my advantage, avoiding the cannon's range. I'll give them credit, they wanted this land, and it's people, as much as the passionate orcs of the Horde. Their fortress, however, had a fatal flaw. The entrance was a wide ramp, an opened front door through my eyes.

I tried my best to tune out the blood curdling cries of the fallen. I hoped they would run out of ammunition soon, or the wildlife of the area would be crippled. Chances seemed slim, though, they did not seem to be reserving supplies.

I took an obscure shot at the base of the ramp, unsure if it was a banner or a soldier. I heard choking and a soft thump, answering my question. Another ran after me, enraged, perhaps I had shot down a friend of hers, but likely it was just hatred for the Horde. Raven flashed behind her, mauling the flesh off her back. They really should acquire some better armor. It didn't take many shots before she collapsed, joining her comrade in their jungle grave. Raven returned to my side, pleased with her first kill.

The base was uniquely designed, as I advanced throughout it, it slowly became more obvious this wasn't of human architecture. It was like a temple. Tents were set up on each level, men laughed and danced by the fire. A priest working in a first aid tent noticed me, but he was silenced before he could speak and dead before he could react.

It was decision making time. I was currently on that thin line between predator and prey, my next move could make or break me. I counted four men within range, if I was careful, I could take them all without drawing other's attention. They seemed to be enjoying themselves as well, distracted, one didn't even have his sword at hand. I was outnumbered, but at advantage.

I fired a multi shot, hitting all of them at once. Soon after I quickly summoned a dire beast spirit, to assist raven in keeping them on met and off me. I noticed as raven fought, she seemed to teleport side to side. Whoa! did Fluffy ever do that? I couldn't recall him ever having that skill, just the ferocity of a wolf. I froze mid shot as I watched her rip off a limb of one of the men. The others starred on horror.

"Die horde scum!" one cried, trying to slash Raven. She once again flashed behind him and his sword hit the stone with a loud clank, drawing a nearby cook's attention.

It was down to two men and the cook, who was soon bleeding to death from a fatal strike of my arrow. Within a minute the last of them gasped his final breath.

I had suffered minor injuries, which I patched with some bandages I had looted from the first aid tent. Before setting them ablaze to render them useless, I salvaged what I could from the supply piles and stuffed it in my bag. "Here you go girl, you've earned it!" I praised, tossing her a piece of mystery meat. She gratefully accepted, devouring it in one large bite.

After the whole camp was scorched, I progressed to the next large ramp, taking out those who patrolled it. One put up a fight, but accepted the same fate as the rest. I give Varian credit, he doesn't send untrained men to seize what he wants, and doesn't mess around when the Horde gets involved.

The next level was full of unarmed workers and cannons. If I could take the cannons out, it would be safe for our men to land and join me on my mission. I'm fine on my own, but it would go much more smoothly if I had a little backup.

The cannon operators had ranged weapons, so I had to be a little more carful. I could only pull one at I time to reduce the risk. My armor protected me from bullets, I could still suffer injuries where my armor was dented or weak. The trick with guns was to get them to run out of ammo. No matter how well they were trained, I doubted they knew skills such as arcane shots, which are driven from focus, a non physical, renewable source of ammunition.

One by one they fell, I overestimated their accuracy and speed. I turned each cannon away from the ship in attempt to give Nazgrim a visual on the progress I had made. A firework launched from Hellscream's Fist to signal the message was recieved.

I entered the temple, clearing the room. I had a feeling Nazgrim was going to send a few men down, and perhaps come himself. I suppose a base would be a good start.

Nazgrim marched in with a small group of kor'kron, only four. "Nice work, kid." He said, patting me on the shoulder. "Ahh, the smell of human flesh rotting. Nothing compares! but I still smell the stench of alliance looming through these halls! Ha, Captian Doren has barracaded himself above us! What cowards our enemies are. They'll run if you give them a chance, see to it that you don't. Stand guard, men! Saerah, go finish him. FOR THE HORDE!"

I cleared my throat. "Sir, with all due respect, I've defeated most all this Captain's men. Perhaps a moment to eat? I haven't had any food all day. I'm sure we can spare a minute to-"

"No time! We must work fast paced, show him no mercy!"

"I don't shoot well on an empty stomach, nor will I have the energy to run. do you send a weak soldier or a strong soldier to battle? Don't even answer. Have your men stand guard while I have a quick lunch. Want some, sir?" A normal person would find themselves without a head for saying that to a general, especially one as fiery as Nazgrim. Even when he had much less power, he was one to jump on any who did not give him full respect. Like I said, life is predator and prey, and in that perspective I am above Nazgrim.

"Very well." He said, defeated. His men stood guard at the double staircases. Both sides were barricaded left and right. On the other side of each stood alliance men, acting as if they were safe behind their makeshift blockades. Not for long.
