Saerah of the Horde

Ever since I was a little girl, I wondered what was beyond the horizon. Wether it was a place I had never seen, or a place unexplored by any, the unknown intrigued me.

As I stood before the people of Orgrimmar, my fellow soldiers, friends, I faced the greatest unknown yet, being known.

Thousands of them chanted my name as I inched towards Baine and Vol'jin. Those who had participated in the siege had already been commended, but Vol'jin insisted I was given full credit for my deeds.

"Before you stands perhaps da most influential soldier of dem all. Fearless, cunning, and yet so young, Saerah has far surpassed her years. Da skilled marksman worked as a double agent, "serving" Hellscream while helping start the rebellion to end his tyranny. I owe her my life for tellin' Garrosh I had perished and standin' by my side as I recovered. Her skillful deception has saved hundreds of innocent lives. It is with great honor I bestow upon her the rank of general, may she lead da Horde into an era of prosperity. I present to you, the master of deception, Saerah of da Horde!" Vol'jin held my hand high above the crowd as they cheered me on.

I smiled sheepishly and waved, not knowing how to react. The unknown I now faced was not like the others, it was not a place, or a people, but myself. There was no hiding from world now, everyone in Azeroth knows me, but I do not know myself.

Who am I? A hunter? A war hero? A diplomat? A tauren? A human? Maybe a crazy mix of them all.

Perhaps I can convince them that like Nazgrim, I hold the key victory... And, perhaps, I do.

I can fight, I can strategize, and I can make myself heard. Is that not a leader?

Perhaps I, the master of deception, have deceived myself into thinking I am any less.

It is done!

Wow, it's been a crazy 2 years, thank you to everyone who's stuck with the story until the end. I'll likely go back to this in my freetime and polish it a bit, but the story itself is complete!
And yes, I do plan on continuing it through the Warlords of Draenor and Legion storylines, especially after all that's happened with many of the main characters in deception in game.
