"That ought to do it, nothing heals like a fistful of needles. It will take time for him to heal, but there's no doubt he's on the road to recovery!" Chen exclaimed.

"Oh thank you so much! The Horde is forever in your debt."

"No, it was simply a favor for a friend. I'm glad I could make a difference."

A mumble came from the corner of the room. Vol'jin's eyes were half open, his lips quivered in attempt to make a sound, but not a word escaped. He repetitively mouthed the same thing, and when I still could not understand, he lobbed his hearthstone at me.

It was clear what he wanted me to do, "Find Thrall."

"Take the hearthstone, I will take care of him and write to you when we need you. You need not worry about your allies, messenger grumbles make certain you get your mail. Go, Thrall must learn of this corruption!"

Seconds later a familiar warmth of the desert sunn at high noon kissed my skin. I opened my eyes to find myself back in Durotar, where my adventure had started.

That'll was playing with his newborn. Proud mother Aggra was the first to notice me, she cleared her throat to let her mate know they had company.

"The only hearthstone I know of to lead here is..."

"Vol'jin's." Thrall finished.

I couldn't believe my eyes, before me stood Go'el, or, as the Horde knew him, Thrall. The hero that had founded everything I've ever fought for. He was larger than life. I almost thought it necessary to bow.

"Yes." I confirmed.

"I know nothing of the events that have taken place in Pandaria, but this hearthstone is part of a conversation Vol'jin and I had long ago. He believes his people are in danger. The fact that he sent you tells me he is as well. It matters not what has happened, I can at least check on echo island for my friend."

"Let us mount up for a visit, and quickly! It seemed urgent."

"Aggra, I shouldn't be long. The Darkspear are a strong people, I doubt they'll need much assistance." He kissed her on the cheek.

"Take as long as you need, Go'el. If Vol'jin's people need you, aid them the best you can."

"You truly have a big heart." I said, smiling at her. The Horde was none of her concern, yet her love extended to the Darkspear.

We left on war wolves from the stables, the fastest in the land. I only hoped we weren't to late.

"What's your name, young tauren?"

"Saerah."

"I will not ask about your age, you seem to have wisdom beyond your years. Would you like to hear a story?"

I nodded.

"When Vol'jin first came here, the Horde was only a dream," Thrall spoke, "We took this desert land and made a home out of it."

"I can only imagine..."

"The land was harsh, but we survived, only together. Time and time again the trolls saved us from starvation and attack. Orcs and trolls are family, and family looks after one another."

"Halt! This island is under martial law." A member of the Kor'kron ordered. Thrall only smiled and dismounted to greet him.

"Have I been away so long you have forgotten me?" he teased.

"We no longer answer to you. We have a new Warchief now, a true Warchief."

Thrall was baffled, "These are allies! You watch over them as if they were a threat, why? You WILL answer me!"
