The Mogu Speaks

I've grown to love Kun'lai, it may be a bit colder than I'm used to, but it was beautiful, and mysterious...

Once again the Warchief requested my presence in it's peaks. I was flown to a small camp in the very far north. It consisted of makeshift tents and a basic campfire in the center. The camp was clearly quickly thrown together, likely so it could quickly be taken apart. The Warchief was trying not to leave any tracks to follow.

Raven arched he back and hissed when she saw the mogu we had captured. He was handcuffed, and by the looks of it, had taken quite a beating. It was not the work of my arrows, or any weapon, however, they had been torturing him.

"Saerah," Garrosh greeted, "excellent work getting those results for me. I don't know what you did, and I don't care, you put those elves in their place, I'm pleased."

I was puzzled, if he had received his results, he would know what had happened in Silvermoon, and yet here we stand, still searching for the divine bell.

"My apologies, Warchief. Before she was brought to you by Goraff, I thought she was not yet ready for such tasks. You have proven me wrong in the most amazing ways, champion." Baine had made it clear that for the safety of the both of us, it was best we act as if we didn't know each other when Garrosh was around.

I had allowed Fluffy, who was reluctant to leave his new friend's side, stay with Baine to protect him. There is always the fear that if Baine slips up, he will suffer the same betrayal as Vol'jin.

"He wouldn't have lived if he were any race but a troll" echoed through my mind.

"If she did not meet your standards, then perhaps I should request for those that do." Garrosh joked, "Now, let us get started."

"Ah, yes. While I was in the vale, I picked up a recipe for memory wine. I believe it can be used to get the information we need." Baine handed me a chalice of it.

"It smells awful." I commented, holding it away from my nose. I couldn't imagine drinking it.

"I'll never down that foul liquid," Scoffed the mogu, "nice try, cattle man."

"The wine contains a spirit essence from a mogu present at the time we need to see, you don't need to."

"Then why'd you pour it in such a nice cup?" I asked, hoping he wouldn't say it...

"Saerah, take a sip."

I closed my eyes tightly any but my lips to the rim. Before me were images from a different time and place.

Many moments passed as I witnessed what had happened the day the bell was hidden. It wasn't until Baine interrupted that I realized it was just a vision.

"What did you see, hunter?"

I told them of the location, sonewhere along the coast of Kun'Lai, not too far from where we were. A crypt hissed within the mountain. That was all Garrosh wanted to hear.

Baine, however, sat down and listened to me tell the full story. The mogu commander we had captured was at the site. Another had reported that the traps were set and that it was time to evacuate the workers.

The commander, however, refused. He said the shadow pan were too close and couldn't see where the bell was hidden. He said that their spirits would forever protect the bell. With that, he pushed the other mogu back into the crypt and sealed the door.

Baine was as amazed as I, "He just thew away his brothers like that? I feel no guilt in torturing him now."

"Nor do I. The power of the sha may be to blame. If only our Warchief would listen, these sha are not a force to be reckoned with!"
