Despite Baine and my prayers, Garrosh knew exactly where to find the bell.
This time, it was a letter from Baine that brought me up to date.
Garrosh went all out on forming a search party for the divine bell. He had hundreds of scouts search every nook and cranny of the northern coast of Kun'Lai. Many went days without food and rest until a crypt that matched my description was found.
He insisted I come fully geared for battle, some scouts had reported seeing night elf rangers in the area.
Kiryn had repaired the damage taken to my chest piece the night of Vol'jin's betrayal. She also added a steel best to the set, extra fortified on my weak arm to protect the still healing wounds.
Tak-Tak was rather talkative during the flight. He spoke of the bell and it's power and how he and his people feared it.
I had expressed my concerns with Valurine, who was very open minded. There was always more than one way to solve a problem. She had suggested we search for a way to counter the bell's power.
With both of us overwhelmed with our duties, Anduin took it upon himself to visit the shrine and do some research. I was nervous he would encounter Horde scouts now that Garrosh had them everywhere, so I sent Raven with him. Not only would she serve as protection, but those who had seen me around domination point with her would hopefully get the message not to attack. Around her neck I tied my red headband just in case.
Now I traveled from the warm southern coast to the mountainous northern coast of Pandaria once more to retrieve the seemingly invincible weapon.
I was approached by blademaster Ishi, a loyal servant of Garrosh well known for his skill in combat. "I've heard much about you. Glad to see you're dressed for the occasion."
"A pleasure to meet you, Ishi, I am Saerah." I introduced myself.
"Child, there is no need for greetings when everyone knows your name. Come, I'll catch you up as we go, we need to hurry." He looked distressed.
"We can't just run in there, the bell is well protected. This must be done with caution." I pleaded, remembering the fear of the mogu in my vision, how the workers were forever trapped.
"Tell that to the damned night elves that beat us here." He said, removing a pile of vegetation covering three elven corpses wearing Alliance tabards. "We need to get down there before they can move it!"
I was speechless, but complied, joining him on the decent to the chamber.
"How did they beat is here?"
"Who knows? But if they think they're going to take the bell from us, they're wrong!"
"By the looks of it I'd say they've already done it."
"I arrived as the last of them were entering the crypt, we still have some time. They will pay with their lives for defying us!" Ishi spoke in mindless rage.
At the bottom of the stairwell was a spacious room with colored tiles on the floor. Two rangers stood watch. One was badly injured by what looked like lightning strikes, the other screamed something in Darnassian, stepping in front of her companion and drawing her bow.
"I will drink your blood!" Ishi exclaimed, lunging forward. As his foot hit the red tile, a powerful force sent him flying backwards. "Don't step... on the red." He moaned.
"Pathetic, you're going to let flooring stop you? This was built to protect the bell for later use, not seal it away forever. I warned Garrosh of the dangers and he chose to ignore them. Now, observe, one made it through unharmed, watch, do not rush into it." I commanded and she made her way into range. Her bare feet danced gracefully from tile to tile, all of them green.
