"So you and Jahzara just...y'all no more?" Kordell inquired, leaning back with his arms extended out to rest along the head of the couch he sat on. Glancing up in his direction, Chris simply shook his head before placing his attention back on the update report he was supposed to be filling out.

"We was never anything period." He dismissed, although Kordell knew that wasn't true. Obviously Chris had a girlfriend, who had yet to be revealed to him because he was choosing to keep her a secret for some reason, but it wasn't long before he was noticing that his friend was getting acquainted with his son's aunt quick.

Maleah was a huge giveaway herself, she wasn't one to do anything or interact with her nightly partners beyond their respected bedroom time. And even then, she just got her nut and dipped most of the time because she didn't like allowing any type of room for her situations to get mistaken into anything more. Yet with Chris, it was clear she treated him differently than the others. Giving him nicknames, partially allowing him near her son, having conversation with him that wasn't completely sexual bound, allowing him into her home to do something that didn't consist of physical pleasure to the both of them...it was all new. And he hated to witness it because he knew nothing would last due to Chris' relationship status.

"Nigga I ain't no damn fool, and I ain't even gon go snitching to nobody. But I know y'all was hitting it off and shit."

Chuckling to himself, Chris reached over to grab the papers from the printer that he needed. "We wasn't doing nothing but fucking, if you call that hitting it off then alright." He shrugged, an obvious bitter taste lingering off of his tongue which didn't go unnoticed by neither Kordell or Luca who glanced towards one another before busting out laughing. Raising his head slowly, Chris eyed both of them in pure annoyance.

"This hurt ass nigga, get a fucking grip. Ain't you in a happy relationship or something?" Luca spoke up first once dying down a little bit, his body sitting up in his seat that was directly across from Chris. He was technicality supposed to be working the case also, which would mean doing the same thing Chris was doing. However, Chris claimed that he had a completely different update that he needed to put in the system, which Luca chose to ask no questions about. Not that he even could since Kordell was also in the room, and nobody but the two working the case was supposed to know about it.

"I am in a happy relationship, meaning I couldn't give less of a fuck what that girl do. What her and I did was a mistake-."

"A mistake that you was willingly allowing to happen for bout a month straight if not longer...?" Shaking his head, Chris could feel himself growing more and more annoyed as the seconds went by. The last thing he wanted to be talking about was Jahzara, especially not right now when he really was working to sort things out with Stasia. His "other woman" being the last thing he was trying to keep on his mind.
