"I don't want you coming with me, stay in the car or something." Maleah huffed out, reaching down between her legs to grab her large black purse. Cutting the car off, Chris took a second to gather himself so he didn't ignite their third argument of the day, considering it was only going on pm and he already wanted to slam her head against the window as is.

"If you think I want to be chaperoning you all damn day, then you absolutely truly are mistaken." He fake smiled, unbuckling his seatbelt while reaching over into the glove compartment to grab his gun. Following his hand, Maleah rolled her eyes because she already knew what that meant.

"Maybe you wouldn't be having to chaperone me if you would give me my fucking keys!"

"Maybe you would have the keys if you knew how to listen, but when you do dumb shit then the smart one of the two of us has to-."

"The smart one out of who? Don't make me laugh." She scoffed, not waiting to hear anymore of what he had to say before opening her door to get out of the car. Moving her hair out of her face, Maleah placed her large purse over her shoulder to start on her way walking. It wasn't long until she heard him walking behind her, the smell of weed hitting her nose with the closer he came. Turning to look at him in disbelief, she caught his eyes that were already looking at her.

"Don't start." He mumbled, turning his head to blow his smoke out to the side. "Me smoking ain't even gon do shit to you, you know how many pregnant bitches actually pick up a cigarette and smoke packs a day with a healthy ass baby?" Stopping her walking to look at him as if he was stupid, Maleah slapped him upside the head with the same look on her face.

"Stop saying stupid shit to me...bitch." She mumbled the last part, Chris only shaking his head because he was used to being called that by her. Had it been anyone else, and had he been the same person he was years ago, she probably would have ended up with a bullet in her head from the disrespect. But he didn't really care anymore, since she could do all of that and by the end of the night be moaning his name in bed.

"If I was an ignorant nigga, I would've blew this smoke in your face and gave you something to really be mad about." He chuckled at the thought, walking a little bit ahead of her to open the door. Taking a step back, he held it open while taking the last slow inhale of his blunt since he couldn't bring it into the restaurant for obvious reasons. Eyeing him, Maleah simply crossed her arms while walking past, not even sparing him any bit of a 'Thank you.' "Someone don't got manners."

Glancing back at him, Maleah raised her middle finger to flick him off, before opening the second door for herself. Stepping in, she didn't wait for Chris, to make her way up towards the front table. The sound of him laughing behind her filling her ears, right before his body pressed up against her own with his right arm wrapping around her waist lazily. His head buried into the crook of her neck where he gave her a small kiss.
