"Chris if you have anything else, I'm gonna start bawling my eyes out...you know I turned pussy somehow and I can't handle this type of stuff." Maleah sighed out, her head laying against his shoulder as the two of them walked down the dark, yet illuminated path that was set up for them per Chris' request.
They'd been in Seychelles for the past day, doing nothing but embracing the time that they had spent with one another. It felt good to just be alone, their phones turned off in order to force the both of them to just live in the moment. Not that they were complaining because this was exactly what they wanted and needed, just time with one another since although they were getting that, as they went back to their normal lives it was starting to get a little difficult.
Especially with them not living together and the two of them working. Of course they seen each other everyday, or almost that because of the baby and Chris coming over to see both of the kids. But it wasn't like before when they got to be up under each other at all hours, and moments of the day. But that's what allowed them to thrive and they knew in order to continue on with what was currently a very healthy relationship, that distance was what was needed. Since too much time together would only give them time and opportunity to find things to dislike about one another and complain.
"I barely even did shit for you yet." He chuckled, detaching their hands so he could wrap his arm around her waist to pull her body closer into his own. Smiling from his embrace, Maleah raised her right hand to clutch against his jacket securely.
"If that's your definition of barely, then I don't know how much more I want to see." Maleah sighed, thinking on the events that'd occurred since she woke up. It started out peacefully, waking up without him in bed with her which she wasn't shocked about, since he woke up early as is from the way his body was programmed. But she usually always felt him get up, this time only being different because of the way he put her to sleep the night prior.
But as soon as she stepped out of the bed, she seen rose petals and gifts everywhere that she couldn't see before due to how tall the structure was. In all directions was another bag with more gifts, all being designer and known brands, some things that she couldn't even pronounce. And that immediately woke her up, forcing her to rush and get her hygiene together so she could walk through the resort house they were staying in to find him. But as soon as she walked out, she was greeted and swept away to eat a catered breakfast that was prepared for her, specifically for her, by professional chefs. Still with Chris nowhere to be found, she ate and got ready as instructed which led them here after he finally picked her up to spend the rest of the night together.
