"You need to work on those stress levels, you had a psychogenic blackout. Only reason why you were asleep so long is because we chose to put you back to sleep because your body needs time to rest. The pregnancy is very close to becoming high risk which nobody wants, especially not for your baby girl in there." Instantly, Maleah sat up at the mention of the gender to her baby being revealed. A small smile spread across her face as she looked over towards Michael in excitement.

"It's a girl?" Lowering his glasses a little bit because he didn't mean to give away the gender like that, the doctor quickly began to apologize until Maleah stopped him. "Don't apologize, I've been dying to know for so long now- I knew it was a girl." She poked her bottom lip out, her eyes trailing down to her stomach that seemed to had grown overnight somehow.

"Yes, but again, you need to steer yourself away from stress if you want to meet her. Also, dad is-."

"Please don't allow him up here, I don't want him around." Maleah spoke sternly, considering the only reason why she even passed out in the first place was because of their blowout. The words he said to her continued to ring through her head, despite her trying her hardest to push it to the back of her mind because that should've been the last thing occupying it.

When she woke up in a hospital bed hooked to a bunch of different wires, she instantly panicked due to not being sure what was going on. It was only her and Michael in the room, Maleah automatically thinking the worse due to her still being out of it. But Michael didn't waste any time in reassuring her that she was just in the hospital and she was fine. Maleah not calming down until she seen the actual doctors and nurses, reassuring her that she was okay.

"Your wish is our command, but I'll leave the two of you in here. If you have any questions or concerns, don't be afraid to press that button." Nodding her head, Maleah leaned back with her head towards the ceiling.

"...What happened?" She asked after a moment of complete silence, listening as Michael cleared his throat to sit up.

"I was driving to you as soon as you called, but once the phone gave out I got nervous cause I ain't know what the hell was going on. So I chose to just go to the house and walk around it till I seen you on the ground passed out. I first brought you to the hospital out there, but they claimed they would have to transfer you to your actual hospital for some reason, which was weird. But they claimed they can't do work on you in Mexico. I caught the first flight down here, and now we here." Michael summed up, Maleah slowly nodding because she really didn't remember a thing before passing out except talking to Chris and the things he said to her.
