"What about I don't understand this case do you not understand? If you can explain to me what the hell I'm supposed to do with-."
"Watch your mouth Brown-."
"We around the same age my nigga, ion give a damn what your position is. I for one have no team, you explaining all this shit about the girl as if that doesn't scream I'll need some sort of backup besides Luca. Especially if a kid is involved and according to you, from what you typed up in this bullshit ass description of this case, she's dangerous. I'm not going into anything blindsided that can potentially get a little boy hurt in the process, you thinking bout and saying this, that, and the third but they've all been I statements. I'm not doing no fucking case to help you, and you lucky as hell I haven't ripped that paper up and said I'm not doing a damn thing." Chris spat, clearly upset from the clench of his hands and the small flare of his nostrils.
For an hour he'd been forced to go back and forth with this man about what exactly he needed to accomplish and how he was supposed to do so, considering there were so many holes in the papers he read. All he needed was a further description to help him out a little bit, especially after learning who this was all about. Of course they didn't really know each other, but he'd already engaged with her sexually, and although it was only twice before even learning about all of this, that was more than enough to mess up everything. Especially if he didn't have every last detail, which he didn't.
Furrowing his eyebrows, the chief tilted his head while leaning back into his seat with his arms crossed. His face reflected the same bout of anger that Chris' did, except his was because he wasn't used to being addressed in a manner like what he was. Not by any of those who worked under him at least.
"You really skating on thin ice, don't end up losing your job before you can even start it." He pointed, earning nothing but a bitter laugh out of Chris who could only shake his head. Snatching his folder out of the chiefs hands, he clenched it in his hand tightly to refrain from his urge to wipe the smirk off of the man's face.
"Says the same nigga who made it a point to let me know I'm physically and mentally the strongest you got. You stupid, but you not that damn stupid." He pointed while backing up, needing to desperately get out of his presence before further saying something he shouldn't have. Because regardless of anything, he still was speaking to who was technically his boss and he knew better than to allow himself to get that much out of character.
"As a captain, one should be able to piece things together to understand what they need for said case-."
"Yeah, cause niggas are psychics now." He blankly stared at the man who remained seated and leaned back in his chair. "You not hearing a peep outta me when it comes to this case, however I choose to handle it is what's gon happen since you clearly don't give that much of a fuck bout that little boy like you claiming. No you not getting reported back to, no you not getting progress updates, and no you will not know shit until I feel I've finished with it. Which clearly ain't gon be for a good minute since- you have a good day chief." He stopped himself, not feeling the need to waste anymore of his breath before making his way out of the dimly lit office.
