"So do you enjoy the whole parenting lifestyle thing, or you miss the days when you got to do whatever you wanted?" Pouring out some of the product for Kaiden's hair into her hand, Maleah rubbed them them together before running her hands through his curls gently. Her head briefly turning to glance at Chris who laid behind her on her bed, his head on her pillow comfortably.
"Well, before having him I got to really be reckless and do whatever. I mean I still do whatever in terms of my sexual life, but I don't party every night, drink excessively, smoke excessively, or make myself as accessible like before. He calmed me down a lot, shaped me into more of a woman...and life without my baby seems so unreal." She poked her bottom lip out while staring at him through the mirror, always admiring how much of a gorgeous child she created.
"That shit so attractive to me, being all motherly and shit." Chris mumbled, his body sitting up to wrap his arms around her from behind. He buried his head into the crook of her neck, giving her a soft kiss followed by two others on the back and the other side of her neck.
"Dada?" Kaiden pointed with his head tilted in a questioning manner once turning around to see his mother and this man in such an intimate position. Although he was young, he comprehended things very well. So it confused him a little bit, his first thought being that it was his father since Maleah taught him the word before. Absolutely not for Chris, but just a general thing.
Twisting her face up, Maleah instantly shook her head no while sitting Kaiden down onto the ground since she knew he liked to crawl. Chris quickly unwrapping his arms from around her before the two ended up confusing the little boy even more than what they already were.
"You don't have a dada-."
"Why would you tell him that." Chris laughed, the fact Maleah was being dead serious making it even more funny to him. Though it was basically true considering Kaiden's father really was nowhere to be found Chris obviously knowing more than what Maleah knew in a sense, but that didn't change the fact that the man still wasn't around.
"Because, he doesn't have one. Only mama, and it will only ever be mama." She smiled, watching as he slowly stood to his feet with his butt sticking in the air first, before starting on his way running out. Just as Pepper came walking in, followed by the newest addition to Maleah's house which was a dog her and Chris randomly bought together. The dog was originally just for Chris, but since Maleah was in the car when he went to the pet store, she nearly begged that they "coparented" with the dog, causing them to be at the store for a good 2 hours before deciding on one. Another 2 days of arguing having to be done until they decided to name the small puppy Dior.
