"I don't know...what to do with Cylis at all. I mean at the end of the day that's my brother, however he clearly doesn't give a damn because he was helping to get my child killed. Me locked away on something I didn't even do for what? Money?" Maleah shook her head, bringing the rim of the wine glass up to her lips to take a slow sip.

Grabbing his cloth napkin, Chris wiped his face before sitting up a little better. "I get it, and whatever you want to do with him then just let know and I can make it happen. In order to actually be charged he has to have a trial, but if I get enough information, I should be able to submit some information so he can get on trial."

Shifting in her seat uncomfortably Maleah put her hands above the table clasped together. Her eyes fixed on his not knowing what to say because she was stuck. This was her brother, not just some random person on the street who she could dish away with. Although he wronged her, the grudge was one that was difficult to hold. But she had to think of herself and her kids, her son specifically who could have been dead simply because her brother wanted to make a careless decision.

"What do you think his intention was, like do you think he wanted to hurt me?" Sighing Chris ran his hands down his thighs because he wanted to be honest with her, but he didn't want to hurt her feelings. However it was more than obvious to understand what was going on, this was not just a case of being careless, it was a case of ill intent.

" I mean I'm probably one to talk, but I know for me personally I did what I did because I had a job to complete. I liked you and I had thoughts about you, they were not feelings like I have now, however it was some thing. So for him to be your brother, who should've had enough love for you being his sister to never ever even attempt to do something like this, It's a hard situation to be in. I'm not going to tell you what I think you should do, nor will I tell you my exact thoughts on the situation because you need to do that for yourself. Nobody else can tell you how to feel or what to think in a situation like such. You know him better than I do because this is your brother, his intentions could be personal or they could just be ignorant. I wouldn't be able to tell you." Chris explained, causing Maleah to throw her head back and groan out of frustration.

Shaking her head, she turned her head to stare down at the city beneath them. It was so live and vibrant, that being common on a Friday night. Across from her, Chris simply sat and admired the beauty in front of him. She looked so innocent and lightweight from the moon shining down on her to glow along her cheek.

"I wish you weren't a cop, there's no thrill in your life-."

"No thrill?!" He raised an eyebrow, Maleah scoffing while waving him off.
