"Can you hurry your ass up, you ain't got no reason to be taking this damn long Maleah." Chris complained, fixing the chain that sat around his neck while staring at Maleah who was still working to curl her hair. She was nearly done, but he knew she would find a way to add an extra half an hour to the process if she really wanted to.
"Eat my pussy?" She mumbled, rolling her eyes in the process while attempting to walk past him. But she didn't get far from his hand latching onto her wrist to yank her body back, Maleah not even bothering to look up at him.
"I do that every night for one, and for two..." He started, leaning down a little bit so his chin rested on her shoulder slightly. "Drop the fucking attitude." He muttered into her ear, before letting go to allow her to finish getting ready.
"I don't even have an attitude." Maleah spoke under her breath with her arms crossed childishly. Eyeing her, Chris scratched at his nose before turning on his heels to walk out of the room. His phone in one hand with his wallet in the other, knowing he might not have needed it knowing who exactly they were going out with, but he at the same time planned on paying for himself, Maleah, and the kids, so he brought it anyways.
They were going to Maleah's mothers birthday dinner, and although everyone was aware they would be coming together, nobody except Imani, Luca, and Jazlyn were aware on what circumstances they would be coming under. Not only that, but it would also be Cylis' surprise back from jail to everyone, considering nobody except Chris and Maleah were aware that he was out of jail. Chris had been letting him stay in one of the guest bedrooms since he was out, knowing he needed time and he was more than happy to provide that, since he ultimately was the one who made the final call for them to throw him away.
"Chris...I'm hungry!" Kaiden yelled, his small legs running up towards Chris fast with his arms extended out towards him. Looking down at him, Chris reached down to sweep him up before he could stop running, placing the little boy on his hip while switching his phone to his other hand.
"We would've been had you eating sum but your momma don't understand how to get ready on time." He mumbled the last part, fixing the small chain around Kaiden's neck that he got him. "You gotta match my fly always, your momma be spending all my damn money, she better be getting you shit too." He spoke, although he knew Kaiden could only understand like half of what he was saying, most likely inferring the rest.
