Drunk

Days went by so fast. It's our Graduation Day. I'm with my Mom and Manang Lylia as they promised to attend my Commencement. I also invited Ezekiel but he is busy with his prior commitments which I totally understand. I know how busy he is.

Ace stayed with his parents days before the Graduation. I let him spend his time with his loved ones before our Graduation Day. Kinokontra pa nya nung una ang desisyon ko pero pumayag din sya sa bandang huli. Baka may masabi na naman ang kanyang Mom sakin.

I saw Queen on the hallway together with her family and she immediately ran towards me and gave me a warm embrace.

"Finally Maze! Were done!"

"Yeah. May after party ka ba mamaya?"

"I don't have any plans, but we can party! Game?"

"Game!!"

And when the ceremony is about to start someone grab my arm and pulled me closer to his body. My eyes widen when I saw Ace in his graduation uniform of course.

"Mamaya pa tayo magkikita diba?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"I wanted to see you."

He grabbed my face and kissed me on my lips. Buti nalang smooch free ang lipstick ko.

"You looked beautiful Baby. Damn."

Nginitian ko sya. He also looked downright handsome. Nakakadagdag talaga sa kagwapuhan nya ang style ng kanyang buhok.

"Malapit ng magstart ang ceremony, pumunta ka na sa pwesto mo." Sabi ko.

Seryoso nyang kinuha ang left wrist ko. Napaawang ang bibig ko ng makita kong may isinuot syang bracelet sa kamay ko. It was a bracelet in rose gold with some diamonds carved on it. My eyes widen when I realized what it is.

"Congratulations Baby. I love you so much."

"Ace! Bakit mo ako binigyan ng ganto? This is too much."

"You deserved all the good things Baby." He kissed me on my lips again. "And mind you, nasa akin ang screw driver. You can't remove that without this." He flashed a smirk and kissed me on my temple.

"I love you too Ace. I have a gift for you too pero mamaya ko pa ibibigay."

"Looking forward on that. See you later Baby."

Tiningnan ko nalang ang papalayo nyang bulto. I fixed my sight on my left wrist. I'm aware that this brand of bracelet is very expensive.

The ceremony went well. Ace gave his promising speech that rendered everyone speechless. He is truly a leader in the making. He really deserves all the glory and praises. San nga ba ako lulugar sa kanyang buhay at this point? I'm really nothing compared to him. Kinakain na naman ako ng insecurities at ng takot.

After the ceremony everyone is rejoicing because we made this far. We finally accomplished something in this part of our lives. And we are excited what the future has store in all of us. But for me it slowly became my dillema.

I want a future with him.

I saw my Mom and Manang Lylia holding a bouquet of flowers for me. Agad akong sinalubong ng yakap ng Mom ko. Niyakap ko din naman sya pabalik.

"Congratulations Maze. I'm so proud of you!"

"Congratulations anak! Masayang masaya ako para sayo. Nakatapos ka na! May award pa!" Bati ni Manang Lylia.

"Thank you po Nay Lylia. Thank you sa flowers Mom!"

"Maze!"

Napalingon ako sa taong tumawag sakin at nakita ko ang papalapit na si Harvey na may dalang bouquet of  flowers too. Agad akong nagtaas ng kilay ng makalapit sya samin.
