Have you ever had the feeling that you regret the things that you have done in the past? Have you ever thought that if only you can turn back the time, undo and correct the mistakes that you chose to do? Pero tulad nga ng kasabihan na nasa huli lagi ang pagsisisi. Sana lang totoo ang time machine para mabalikan ko ang nakaraan at maitama ko ang mga nagawa kong pagkakamali but that's impossible, nangyari na ang nangyari at hindi ko na mababalikan pa. And I had my choices too and that includes leaving Ace.

I stared outside. The wave of people are blocking my sense of sight while I'm enjoying my coffee in SB. Ibinalik ko ang tingin sa screen ng laptop ko kung san nakapause sa isang invitation na nareceived ko via email mula kay Harvey.

"World Engineering Day"

"Seryoso ba to? Kelangan talaga namin pumunta sa event na to? Hindi naman kami Engineers."

As if on cue, my phone rings and I saw Harvey's name on the screen.

"It's a gala night, we should be there because were invited." Aniya.

"Why would I attend that gala, I'm not an Engineer."

"But you're working in a company with Engineers, so come on my queen, let's meet up later, I'll buy you a gown."

"Fine, whatever. Should I get a haircut?"

"If you think that your hair is longer than before then visit your hair stylist."

"Asshole."

"See you later."

Isinara ko na ang laptop ko at saka inubos ang order ko na kape.

I'm staring at my reflection in the mirror as I had my hair done. I decided to have my hair dyed in medium brown in ombre, and I'm so happy with the result. I looked like a foreigner. Medyo pinakulot ko din ang buhok para may effect, beachy waves lang naman. I wore a red matte smooch free lipstick from Tom Ford to complete my look. Ako lang din ang nagmake up sa sarili ko, kunting eye shadow with smoky effects lang naman ang ginawa ko sa mukha ko.

I'm wearing a black gown in halter style. The back is slightly exposed revealling my roses and thorns tattoos, but I couldn't care less now. I'm confident now and I'm embracing myself more than anyone could do. The dress hugged every curves of my body and it has a slit that is almost reaching the top of my right thigh. I paired it my red Lougboutin shoe and a small YSL purse.

Paglabas ko ng kwarto agad kong nakita ang nakatayo at mukhang naghihintay na si Harvey. He looked so dashingly handsome in his black tuxedo. He's radiating an intimidating yet powerful aura that made his look even more aesthetically pleasing. I can't believe that this good looking man is my brother now.

"Just wow!" He exclaimed when he set his gaze on me.

"I know. You look great too."

"We're Sandoval, always remember that. Shall we go?"

"Let's party."

When we arrived at the venue, countless flashes of cameras welcomed our sight and when we walked on the red carpet too. I plastered a genuine smile same with Harvey. I know he is used to this kind of publicity and attention.

"Let's look for Mom and Dad. They must be here somewhere." He stated.

"Even celebrities were invited in this event?" Tanong ko sa kanya.

"It's a big event after all, that's why."

"Yeah, right."

"I'm not sure if he's coming tonight, the last time he's invited to this event he didn't came."
