"Hindi ka nya hinila papasok ng unit ko? Walang action na naganap? Walang rated SPG?" Tanong ni Harvey nang ikwento ko sa kanya ang encounter namin ni Ace.
"Wala! Are you expecting that we will kiss each other or will have sex in your unit?! The fuck?!" I exclaimed.
"Why? Aren't you waiting for that to happen? Come on Maze, ilang taon kayong hindi nagkita so that's not impossible."
"That's impossible. Hindi nga nya ako kinakausap ng maayos eh. Galit sya sakin eh."
"Syempre, what do you expect from him after what you did. Kiss and make up agad?" Sarkastiko nyang tugon.
"Yeah right. Bakit ka kasi dito kumuha ng unit?" Pagiiba ko ng topic.
"Maganda eh. Saka malapit sa office diba."
"Make sense."
Days passed and I'm getting used with the kind of work I have specially the workload. I need to visit some sites to check the place and some sites are far that will require me to use a car which I don't have.
But the morning I came to work I was surprised when Harvey throw me a key when he summoned me to his office.
"What's this?"
"A car key perhaps?"
"But why?"
"Because you have a car now?"
"Are you fucking kidding me?!"
"Sorry my queen. I'm not fucking kidding." Umupo sya sa swivel chair nya. "Go and check it out."
"Thank you brother!!!" Patakbo ko syang nilapitan at niyakap sa leeg nya.
"Fuck! I can't breathe Maze!"
"Thank you Harv! You're the best! Makakapunta na ako ng site!"
"Drive safely and don't do drunk driving!"
"Of course not!" Nginisian ko sya bago ako lumabas ng opisina nya.
Agad akong pumunta ng parking to check my car. I saw his car and beside is a BMW X6 in Black. Muntik na akong magtatalon sa tuwa. Finally I have a new car. Naalala ko bigla si Max. Pinagpahinga ko na sya dahil mukhang pagod na sya.
Sumakay na ako at pinaandar ang bago kong car. I didn't expect that he'll give me this brand and model. Happy na sana ako kahit katulad ulit ni Max ang magiging sasakyan ko but still I'm thankful.
Pagod na pagod akong umuwi galing sa trabaho, I visited a site together with Clarence, one of our Head Engineers. Dumiretso ako sa banyo para maligo at magbabad sa bath tub.
I received a text from Harvey that he won't be home tonight. He said he'll get laid. I replied to use protection if he don't want to acquire STD, he replied with a laughing emoji. Such a bastard.
And I noticed that hindi na kami nagkikita ni Ace sa Building. I felt like he is avoiding me or feeling ko lang yun. Baka wala sya sa penthouse nya or hindi ko lang talaga sya nakikita. Pano kami maguusap at pano ko ako magiinitiate ng usap? Makita ko palang sya nanghihina na ako. He overpowered me in everything that he do.
Days went by and I'm preparing for our meeting with EE board members and with the CEO. I wore a black pencil cut skirt and a nude top paired with my black blazer this time. I blow dried my hair and then fixed it a bun. I wore a nude lipstick to complete my look. I wore my Louboutin shoes in nude too.
I waited for Harvey and I was stunned when I saw how he looked. He looked so dashing in his gray suit.
"Wow! Ang pogi naman ng kapatid ko!"
