Y/N flies back to Oceanside for a friend's wedding. The day after the wedding she gets up at 8am & drives to the beach. When she parks the car, she gets out & puts on her wetsuit. She grabs her surfboard & walks over to the beach. She stops in her tracks when she sees her ex-friend with benefits, Craig Cody. The second eldest of the Cody boys. He has a reputation as the reckless one of the Cody family. The adrenaline junkie, a recreational drug user & very impulsive.
Y/N was drawn to him since the first time she met him at a party a few years back. He spots her & walks over.

She meets him halfway & smiles. "Hey." "Hey, what are you doing here?", he asks pulling her in for a hug. "Came back for Lizzie's wedding", she says as they pull apart. "She finally married James, huh?", he laughs. "I know right. So, how've you been?" "Good. Alot better now", he says licking his lips at her. "You look so good, Craig." She touches his chest. He cups her chin & lifts her head up.

"So do you", he says. He softly plants a kiss on her lips. "Doing anything tonight?", he asks pulling away. "Nope." "Wanna come over & hang out?" "Definitely. You still have my number?" "Yeah." "Cool. Just send me the details." "I will. Gotta go. I'll see you tonight." They say bye & she heads into the water.
She surfs for the next couple of hours. Afterwards, she takes off her wetsuit & heads back to her parents house. Thankfully, her parents are on vacation so she has had the whole house to herself. She parks in the driveway, puts her board in the garage & walks into the house. She goes into her old bedroom & falls asleep. At about noon, she wakes up & sees a text from Craig. "Meet me at Deran's bar. 7pm" She writes back immediately. "See you tonight."
She gets up & makes herself something to eat then relaxes on the couch watching a movie. 5:45pm rolls around & she decides to take a shower. Once she's finished, she steps out & styles her hair then does her makeup. She brushes her teeth while picking out an outfit. She takes out a pair of short jean shorts, a black lace spaghetti strap cami top & some wedge sandals. She rinses her mouth with mouthwash then proceeds to get dressed.
