Don't Forget To Drink A Beer For Me

It was already afternoon when Joel's phone started ringing.

"Hey man" he said when he picked up and i turned to look at him

We were sitting in the living room watching a movie.

"How did the meeting go?" So he was probably talking with Joonas or that Niko? If i remember his name right

I took the remote and paused the movie so he wouldn't miss something, he turned and smiled to me

"Cool, can i also bring my best friend?" I looked confused at him

Did he mean me? What is he planning again?

"So are coming with me?" The blonde man asked me when he closed the call

I just kept looking confused at him

"Niko invited me to go for drinks, so why don't you come with me, it could be an opportunity to meet another member also you know" he said excited but i don't think i would agree with him

I wasn't feeling like going out after what i went though the morning and i had to call Jake, we haven't spoken for almost two days.

"I'm sorry but i will pass, maybe next time" he raised an eyebrow to me

And went to get his shoes and jacket

"Why tho?" He asked when he was ready

"Not in a mood and i want to call Jake" i looked at him when i paused the movie once again

"Oh i see, you were waiting till i would leave for the call" he smirked and i throw him a pillow "okay okay, sorry next time then" i just nodded

"Have fun and remember to drink a beer for me" i chuckled and he laughed

"Yes sir, and please don't finish all the popcorn" he replied and quickly run out or else he would get hit by a heavier pillow.

I sighed and continued the movie.

It's been days since i haven't talked with Jake. He is a pilot and travels a lot to Europe and USA that's why he is always tired.

With Jake we met in Netherlands, he was actually studying music too. I was 17 and he was 20 when we first meet.

He plays violin and i play piano. Perfect duo right?
But after 3 years he quit and became a pilot. He always loved airplanes and also traveling around the world.

When i had free time and i managed to take days off of the work, we traveled together. We've been to a lot of countries.

For example where we said "i love you" for first time was on Greece, in Santorini while the beautiful sun was going down or where we got engaged was on Madrid in Spain.

We've been to quite a lot countries of Europe and also to to New York, California and Canada.

Of course he has gone to more places, it's a really tiring job but he is also lucky to have this opportunity.

With Jake was something like love with the first sight. When i saw him i felt immediately in love with him but he was 20 and i thought that i seemed as a little kid even if i was 17.

But I managed to get his attention, and we actually got together. He is always caring and really protective over me, what he was to fix is that he gets easily jealous but no-one can be perfect.

He visits me twice a month and when he has days off even more often. He still plays violin so when he gets in Helsinki we have our own concerts.

I play piano, he plays violin and Joel plays guitar and sings.

We actually have to make the neighbors to pay a ticket for listening to us.

I couldn't imagine my life without Jake. We lived together for 3 years in Netherlands and I just love him with my whole soul

After thinking again and again about Jake and good memories we've shared i decided to finally call him.

I lowered the volume on the TV and grabbed my phone and walked in my room.

Joel could got back in anytime and i hated when someone interrupted my calls.

I pressed the screen and waited till his face appeared on my phone.

His green eyes shining, it's been only two weeks since he came here last time and i already missed him so much

"Hey babe" i said immediately

"Oh hey love" i could hear voices in the background maybe he was out.

Today they were in Rome, even if i was in Rome i would go out all the time wanting to explore everything.

"How are you?" I asked him and saw him walking away from the noisy people

"Rome is nice but i miss you" he looked in the camera and I felt my heart melting

"I miss you too" i replied and he smiled to me

God his smile would make a blind human to see again. I blushed hard and with Jake everytime felt like we were on our first year.

"How did your day go?" He asked and i chuckled at the thought of the brunnete one fighting with me over that taxi

"Had a fighting with an asshole over a taxi" i said and he laughed

"Did you win?" He asked proudly but i had to disappoint him

"He made me walk for 40 minutes in the rain" i felt cold just in the thought of it

"Oh, I'm sorry for this, i should have been there to beat his ass" i chuckled and nodded

"Hey babe our food is ready are you coming?" I heard a female voice and Jake actually turned to look at the direction but didn't reply.

Of course he wouldn't, I'm sure it was not for him

"What was that?" Of course my jealous side had to wake up

"I'm out for a dinner with Jenny and her husband and she came to look for him" Jake replied and i felt a relief.

It's not like i got often jealous but if you heard that you wouldn't get jealous?

"Oh that's cool i hope you have fun" after some minutes we hang up since i wanted to leave him eat his dinner and he promised to call me when he would arrive in the hotel.

I laid under the covers and scrolled through my Instagram.
The next thing i remember was waking up because Joel was covering my body with a blanket

"What time is it?" I asked him after i yawned

"2 AM you should sleep" i moved my body up and looked in my phone wasn't Jake supposed to call me

"Also Jake called but you were sleeping and he didn't want you to wake up" the blonde one replied and i put my phone back on its place

"Did you have fun?" I asked him in a sleepy tone and laid back down

"I did and i drank not one but two beers for you" the man chuckled and i smiled

"Thanks" i mumbled and closed my eyes "good night Joel"

"Good night Taina" he kissed my head and walked out after closing the lights and the door

People lot of times thought that i was a couple with Joel but no i couldn't imagine myself with him. Not like he is not a good one. He is a good person, really funny and attractive but I don't feel like it plus I'm with Jake.
