I slowly stepped my feet into his house while my eyes scanned the new surroundings. The house wasn't fancy, it was more homey. It seems like a house where you could relax in, have all your worries be gone once arriving in it, so I smiled as I looked to where George was heading and followed.
Me and George's hands were still locked when entering the room present with his mother. She looked up at us and a huge grin became very prominent on her face. After looking at his mother for a short moment I let my eyes fall to the shorter brunette next to me. I was a little taken a back to see him already staring back but smiled anyways. He lightly squeezed my hand before bringing his attention to the eager lady in front of us.
"Mum this is clay!" George happily squealed. My heart warmed at his excitement making a subtle blush litter my freckled cheeks. I now felt the intense eyes of his mother causing me to shyly look over towards her. We locked eyes causing his mom to giggle sheepishly.
"definitely a charmer George. Good eye." My eyes widened at this and I could only imagine George's face right now. My face heated up and when I looked over to George's I could see his had also.
"Mum!" He scolded. She ended up sighing and after a short introduction me and George were off to his bedroom.
I was surprised when entering his bedroom, seeing many things littering the small room. First thing that caught my eye however was the giant rainbow flag on the wall. I smiled at it probably causing George to notice my actions. I looked over at him now, still smiling, and caught his line of vision. He seemed to know what I was looking at and shyly looked over towards it like I was moments prior.
"Uh-"
"It's cool!" I interrupted. The boy looked over at me again and let a little smile and blush spread onto his face.
"Thanks" I nodded my head as I entered more into his room and found myself a nice seat on his bed. I let my eyes wander more as they landed upon many hidden little Minecraft features. One thing in specific was a bucket hat, my own merch bucket hat. I smiled once more before skipping playfully towards the hat.
"Clay, what are you-" George was interrupted by his own little giggle as he watched me happily skip to the small hat. I picked it up between my fingers before turning back to him with a very noticeable grin present. I then skipped over to him joyfully watching as yet another shy giggle escaped his lips.
I then gently placed the founded hat a top his head as I watched expectantly for his reaction. He just ended up giggling some more before staring right back up at me. We locked eyes and I couldn't help but to stop my intense smile and just focus on the way he stared at me.
His eyes were looking slightly up more and were really capturing the light from the lamp above me. His hair placed a top his head was laid extra fluffily in this moment and the more in depth blush was more prominent then ever. I could only imagine how my cheeks look currently, but that was to worry about a different time.
A small smirk found my face as I gently placed my cold hand on his shoulder. His eyes flickered to it for a second before staring back up at me again waiting for my next move.
"Very cute gogy." If it was possible his cheeks got darker which just boosted my confidence once more. I brought my hand from his shoulder to his cheek and lightly applied soothing circles from my finger to his face. He only leaned into my touch before I pulled away and went to sit next to him. We stayed silent for a few moments allowing my thoughts to overtake reality for a bit.
Gosh, why was I feeling this way to him? Did I really already fall for this boy after such a short time period. This must be a new record for love at first sight or some shit. Wait- I wasn't in love, I just believe he is slightly cuter then many others. That shouldn't matter though, he's a literal obsessed fan though. I can't fall in love with a fan, that's weird. However I shouldn't just continue to call him that as he's much more than just one of my 'fans' because he's not a number to me, he's a friend and maybe, just maybe a crush of some sort.
Maybe I do stand a chance to him though. He got so extremely flustered from my small touch and little loving actions it made my heart beat faster then normal.
I sighed out and flopped my body onto his bed. Looking over to George now I saw he seemed to be also lost in thoughts before snapping out of them and turning his attention to me instead. He scanned my face for a few moments before locking eye contact with me.
"Wanna play a game or something? I have an extra laptop. OH we can play Minecraft!" George happily exclaimed. Minecraft, yeah no. That would be a total give away on me being his literal Minecraft idol. I sighed out before replying to his ideas.
"Nah, I don't really want to play Minecraft right now to be honest, sorry." His expression dropped before lighting up after a couple seconds passed.
"That's fine! We could watch a movie? My mom bought popcorn yesterday!" George squealed once more causing me to giggle and nod my head to him. A grin plastered his face but quickly left my vision when he jumped up from his bed and ran towards the tv hung on the wall.
After many minutes scrolling through movies and arguing about which one was the best we decided on the old ghostbusters movies. (New ghostbusters just came out so ofc had to add this cause the movie was great!) we also got his mother to make us some popcorn to eat, which I greatly appreciated.
We ended up snuggling into the blankets spread onto his bed while shoving popcorn into our mouths every second during the movies. Sometime during the second one George had placed his head onto my shoulder, I thought it was cute.
Once they both had ended me and George headed out into his living room to greet his mother.
"Hey boys, how were the movies?" His mom asked us as soon as we stood foot into the room. I saw George smiling in the corner of my eye before watching him reply.
"They were great mum!" All of us were smiling now and I was surprised when hearing his mother ask her next question suddenly.
"Would clay like to stay for dinner?" George didn't even bother looking at me for approval before nodding his head eagerly. His mother looked towards me in question wondering if I actually would of agreed. I nodded and hummed before speaking back to her questioning glare.
"If I could sure! Probably would of just picked up some fast food anyways." I grinned stupidly at them both. I felt welcomed being able to actually eat with a family, even if it wasn't my own. I've never really experienced family dinner, lunch, or breakfast for that matter so this felt like a very sweet gesture. I now noticed George had grabbed onto my hand at some point making my grin only grow impossibly wider.
She nodded before gesturing us towards the kitchen where the food will be placed in a few minutes I suppose. Me and george we're now sat peacefully at the dining room table waiting to be served before the boy across from me spoke up.
"Will your parents not mind you eating here?" I looked over a little shocked to hear from him before slowly shaking my head a little disappointedly.
"no they won't, I'd rather eat here anyways!" I tried lightening the topic a bit for me with the end statement. He seemed to take notice of that and slowly grabbed my hand under the table. He sighed and began squeezing it a little comforting me slightly. A few minutes passed until his mother came into the room with a meal in her hands for the 3 of us. She placed it onto the table before ordering us to dig in and enjoy.
I happily shoved my face with food watching as the Davidson family also did as well. I smiled contently with how this day had laid out after all. My thoughts completely empty from all the drama resolving around dream today, making me very relived. I about scolded myself for almost not coming here today, my previous thoughts almost all turned down by now and filled with the new small memory's formed with George and his mother today.
