A/N: Heya! Sorry for any mistakes in this chapter, I didn't have time to proof read it. Feel free to point them out and I'll be sure to get them fixed later. Anyway, enjoy!

The adrenaline was coursing through your veins as you felt the cold wind nip on your bare cheeks. The ecstasy of feeling it in in your hair, as the wide city spreaded open before you. And there was something else as well. You were inspired by the boy standing right next to you, his determination clearly leaving a mark on you. You looked at him thankful for this high of energy. He was trembling slightly. You couldn't be sure if it was because of the sudden attention of citizens you put his way, or because of the chilly air. You took your coat off, the draft quickly leaving goosebumps on your bare arms. You wrapped it around him tightly.

,,Keep it for now, you must be freezing from sitting here this whole time".

You said as you straightened it out a little. The boy looked at the gift, then back at you, and awkwardly tried to take it off his shoulders while leaning on his cane.

,,It's okay... you look like you need it more than I do..."

You grabbed his hand gently and bent slightly to look into his amber eyes.

,,Please... I insist"

You said and to your relief he tucked one end of the clothing piece closer to his chest, wrapping it around himself. He smiled and muttered a small thank you. The two of you stood there in silence, both lost in your own thoughts. Finally the boy spoke softly, wind taking his words back to the staircase.

,,Why were you even looking for me?"

You totally forgot the actual purpose of your visit here. You got so distracted by Viktor's story it just completely slipped your mind.

,,Right! I almost forgot about it... I actually wanted to apologize... For yesterday I mean. And for other times I acted out as well. We've met just a couple days ago and yet I lashed out at you at least 3 to 4 times. You didn't deserve it."

You spoke quickly, your voice changing tones slightly after each sentence. It was clear you were nevous. The boy smiled slightly. He placed his cane on the side and slowly sat down, trying to put as little weight on his impaired leg as possible. He was also holding your cloak from falling off of his shoulders so it definitely wasn't the easiest task.
But before you could help him settle down, he was already sitting confidentially on the dirty stone, his legs dangling from the edge. He looked at you from under your feet and pointed his head to a spot next to him.

,,Well I did undermine your status by taking your place as Heimerdinger's assistant. And I also put one of your friends in jail... So I feel like your intitial hostile emotions towards me are completely understandable."

The Zaunite chuckled and looked back at the horizon.

,,And when it comes to yesterday... I should be the one apologizing to you. You shared a piece of yourself with me and I overstepped. I pushed you too hard on this one, and I respect your privacy and hesitation."

As he spoke your eyebrows furrowed.

,,You didn't overstep, it was me who overreacted. And even if... It wasn't a reason for me to cry like that, it was foolish."

,,What you did right here, screaming my name into the streets, was foolish as well. Even more than crying on the bathroom floor. Yet you did it anyway, and you don't seem too embarrassed about it."

You looked down the edge. Your head spun a little at the deadly altitude and you raised your knees, pulling them close to your chest. You wrapped your hands around yourself trying to keep the heat from leaving your body.
