AN: Hey guys, Arcanist here.
This is my first fanfiction EVER, and written in English which is my second language, so please feel free to point out mistakes and leave constructive criticism.
This is a Fem!Reader x Viktor and I'm not going to be doing a Male!Reader version because it wouldn't fit my story line.

You can skip the exposition if you want to but I think it puts your character a bit into perspective and explains her motives. So, without further ado, enjoy.

------------------------------

What will it take for one to be remembered? To be saved from the unavoidable grasp of death and imortalised till the end of time.
An invention?
A Revolutionary concept brought to life?
Or simply a couple of words said at the right time to the right person.

You are one of the Academy's brightest, as well as one of the most recognisable faces in the institute's community. A shinning example of how being smart doesn't equal being socially awkward. Beloved by both professors and students, the only child of house Vilon - Y/N.
Your house was once one of the most respected clans in Piltover. Known for their fascination with space, their airships are what allows Piltovans to safely and conveniently trade and travel. It still blew your mind how a single mistake can throw years of reputation out of the window. It was a simple miscalculation, one equation that didn't quite hit the mark. But the outcome was like nothing Piltover's ever seen. A gigantic explosion and a shockwave that destroyed half of a district. They would say even the Undercity felt it. Almost the entire clan erased from the surface of the Earth. You weren't alive at the time but you heard stories. Bodies evaporating, buildings crumbling into dust. It was supposed to be revolutionary. It was supposed to write down your family's name on cards of history forever. A game changer they said. A way to reach the Gods themselves. The first ever airship to reach the stars - Unity. The entire clan, with an exception of your then 12 year old father, was wiped out with a click of a button. And now, you were the last heir to his name.

The moment you were born you became a disappointment. You were supposed to be a boy after all. The grand scheme to save Vilon's family name, all the work your father has put into searching for a perfect candidate to put his spunk into.
Gone. Reduced to atoms.
Just because you were born without a penis. Further attempts your mom and dad had came to nothing. Same with the attempts only your father pursued. People started spreading rumours, that your family had been cursed by the Gods, for trying to reach their glory all those years ago. And it could've been true. No matter who you'd marry they would never inherit the name. And since siblings were out of the question, your house was doomed from the moment you came out of your moms vagina.

After 10 years of trying, your father stopped pursuing the dream of having a son and decided to focus on making you the greatest Vilon there's ever been. It had it's good and bad sides. Since your daddy dearest put so much attention to detail when choosing his wife, you received quite the genes. You were a natural at learning, and studying multiple fields at a time didn't pose much of an issue to you. You also had the privilege of being remarkably beautiful. Piercing grey eyes in combination with naturally white hair and light skin, made you quite a sight to see. Sadly tho, it put you in a situation where you always had to be the best at everything. Your ambitions unmatched even by the ones of professor Heimerdinger. You also didn't have the privilege of having a patron from one of the bigger houses, since considering your family's history with genocide, you weren't very popular with Piltovan nobles. You reached the top by yourself, getting into the Academy with one of the highest scores in history. So why the fuck  Heimerdinger chose some Zaunite schmuck as his assistant and not you??!
