Meanwhile, Maya takes the opportunity to get closer to Ilona. She takes her aside while the girls talk.
Maya : « so, you, are you in a relationship ? »
Ilona : « nope, wbu ? »
Maya : « neither do I »
Maya : « but isn't there one you like here ? »
Ilona : « um yes, maybe there's one » 😌
Maya : « who ? »
Ilona : « well, they're all beautiful huh, but.. Payton » smiling a bit.
Maya : « Payton ? » 😌
Ilona : « yeah.. he kinda hits different » smiling a bit.
Maya : « yeah I know, I tried with him but... » raising her eyes.
Ilona : « oh.. it wasn't mutual ? » 😬
Maya : « nah it's just that y/n always ruins everything »
Ilona : « y/n ? Why ? Is she his girl ? »
Maya : « apparently.. she was also my best friend huh, but she has her priorities »
Ilona : « damn »
Maya : « uhm »
Maya : « but if you go see him, there might be a way that... yk » 😏😌
Ilona : « if I go see him ? »
Maya : « well, you like him, don't you ? »
Ilona : « well, idk him very well but he's hot yeah. But he's got a girl now, so.. »
Ilona : « plus, I don't get it, you wanted to date him and now you're asking me to try something with him ? » a little confused.
Maya : « well.. I'd rather see him with you than with her ig »
Ilona : « oh, really ? »
Maya : « she doesn't deserve him, I swear »
Ilona : « ...if you say so »
Ilona : « but you then ? »
Maya : « me ? No it's dead... and it's her fault. She knows it very well but she doesn't care because she's with him now, yk ? »
Ilona : « oh, I see... so, you want me to go see him ? »
Maya : « well, wasn't that what you were planning to do anyway ? » 😏
Ilona : « um maybe » 😌
Ilona : « just one thing, are you aware that you're not getting anything of this ? »
Maya : « yes I'll get something. Maybe when she will see Payton with another girl she'll finally understand how I felt »
Ilona : « okay » 😶
Ilona : « what about me ? What's in it for me to help you ? »
Maya : « well, Payton » 💁🏻‍♀️😌
Ilona : « uh » smiling a bit.
Maya : « so, you agree ? »
She glances at Payton.
Ilona : « okay, but he's in a relationship, so don't get your hopes up either »
Maya : « yeah but he's also a player » 😌
Maya : « trust me, you have every chance »
Ilona : « k » 😌

On your side :
After talking to Noah, you go join Talia, Madi and Leïa. You notice that Ilona is looking at Payton. It is really starting to annoy you.
You : « can someone tell me what she's playing at ? »
Talia : « who ? »
You : « Ilona » looking at her sideways.
You : « doesn't she get tired of looking at him 24/7 ? » raising your eyes, annoyed.
Leïa : « here we go » 🤡😌
Madi : « oh so you're jealous » 😌
You : « don't start girls »
Talia : « y/n, Payton's with you, don't mind her, it's okay »
You : « I know but she annoys me »
You : « anyway, come on, let's talk about something else cause.. »
Madi : « yeah, we could talk about Lucas for example » 😌
Talia : « obviously » raising her eyes, smiling a bit.
You : « what a great idea » smirking.
You : « nah but seriously, what do you think of him ? »
Talia : « well, he's very nice »
Madi : « nice ? I would have said very hot but.. » 🤷🏻‍♀️😌
Leïa : « eh oh, chill, you're taken »
Talia : « okay he's very.. beautiful too » smiling a bit.
Leïa : « ooh » 😏
You : « Talia » 😏
Talia : « chill, yes he's cool but calm down, we've only known each other for 3h, barely »
You : « yeah, true » 🤡
Leïa : « yeah » laughing a bit.

You stay at the skatepark for a while more and then it gets late, so you decide to go back to your rooms. You say goodbye to Lucas and his friends, then you all go up to your rooms, take a shower and put on something more comfortable.
A few minutes later, you all go downstairs and eat. You talk about the day and the others of course. Then you go back upstairs and, as usual, you gather in a room to chill a bit before going to sleep.
You all go to Chase, Payton and Josh's room. You are in Payton's arms, playing with his hands. You guys talk about everything and nothing. Then after a while, it gets late so you decide to go to bed.
Everyone is starting to leave the room.
You turn to face Payton.
You : « well.. goodnight » smiling.
You kiss him, he kisses you back.
Payton : « don't fall asleep too fast »
You look him in the eyes, then smile.
You : « see you later then » whispering.
You kiss again.
Chase : « alright lovers, it's time to sleep » 🙄😌
Payton sighs a bit.
You : « it's okay Chase, you can have him » 🙄😌
Chase : « thanks » 😌
Payton laughs a bit.
You leave their room and join the girls in yours.

A few minutes later, the girls fall asleep. You look at your phone and see a text from Payton. He tells you to meet him at the skatepark. You smile and grab his hoodie from under your pillow. You put it on and go join him.
You arrive at the skatepark. As usual, you find him skateboarding. He sees you, so he smiles and stops. You go hug him, smiling.
Then, you guys go sit at the top of a ramp. Payton is sitting with his feet in the air, and you are lying on your back, your head on his thigh. He plays a bit with your hair.
You guys talk about everything and nothing, and then Payton starts asking about Noah.

Payton : « what did you and Noah talk about earlier ? »
You : « I explained to him about the last time, when I called him. I told him it was just for the game »
You : « and I also told him that I was with you now, so he shouldn't expect anything »
Payton : « and what did he tell you ? »
You : « well, he was kinda disappointed I think, but he understood that we'd never be more than friends, so.. »
Payton : « friends ? Like with Josh ? »
You straighten up and look at him.
You : « are you jealous ? » teasing him.
Payton : « no but we all know that you can't be friends with someone you like »
You smile a bit, then sit on him.
You : « but I don't like him, ..what could happen ? »
You : « are you scared I'll fall in love with someone else ? » looking him in the eyes, smiling a bit.
Payton : « ..fall in love ? »
You look away for two seconds.
You : « I mean, he's just a friend, so dw.. » a bit uncomfortable.
You are both a little uncomfortable because you realize you do not really know how you feel. It is all very confusing in your heads.
Payton : « yeah, well, your buddy better not go on any dates with you » raising his eyes a little.
You smile a little.
Payton : « I'll keep an eye on him »
You : « I hope so »

You stay here for a few more minutes, then you decide to go back to your rooms to sleep. Payton walks you back to yours. You kiss each other one last time, then go to bed.
