Truth or dare ?

You sit on the edge of the bed trying to be discreet. Luckily, the others are in the middle of a discussion, talking loudly and do not hear you or see you coming.
Then Talia turns around.
Talia : « oh you're already here ? So ? »
You : « um.. he's fine » faking a little smile.
Payton is pretending to be interested in the discussion of the others, but listens to you talk.
Talia : « oh.. »
She looks at you for a few seconds.
Talia : « hbu ? Are you okay ? »
You : « yeah.. yeah, I'm fine » not wanting to talk about it.
Talia : « ..okay » not wanting to insist.

After that, you get hungry, so you go downstairs to eat. You do not talk during the whole meal. After a while, you meet Payton's eyes, you try to look as good as possible, so you fake a little smile. He looks down a little, then turns his head.
You frown a bit, confused, wondering what is wrong with him.
You guys finish eating.
Christopher : « so, what do we do now ? »
Madi : « we can play "truth or dare ?" » 😌
Jade : « oh yeah » 😌

This time, you decide to go to Cynthia, Madi and Talia's room. The others enter the room, but you do not feel like pretending for the rest of the night, so you turn to Talia.
You : « um, I'm tired, I think I'm gonna go to bed, gn » about to leave.
Talia : « y/n... » grabbing your arm.
You turn to her.
Cynthia comes out of the room.
Cynthia : « well, are you coming ? »
Talia : « yes we are, just 2 seconds »
Cynthia : « okay but hurry up » going back to the room.
Talia turns to you.
Talia : « beb.. I can see you're not well... do you wanna talk about it ? »
You look at her, shake your head and start to cry a little.
Talia : « oh no.. bby... » giving you a hug.
Talia : « what happened ? »
You : « he didn't have time for me... » crying.
Talia : « oh.. » feeling bad for you.
You : « he said he'd call me later, but I bet he's already forgotten.. »
Talia : « ...I'm sorry... you deserve so much better »
You : « ...but I love him » wiping away your tears.
Talia : « I know... »
You stay a few seconds without saying anything.
Talia : « yk what ? You should try to get some sleep. Let the night pass, take a step back, maybe it's just a hard time »
You : « you think so ?.. »
Talia : « well, I can't tell you, but every couple has moments that are a little more difficult than others, that's life. Just wait till you have a real conversation with him »
You : « yeah, maybe you're right, ...I'm too lost to think about anything rn anyway. So yeah, I'm gonna go to sleep »
She nods, giving you a little smile to cheer you up.
Talia : « I'll walk you back to your room, come on »
You arrive in front of your room.
You : « thank you Talia.. fr »
Talia : « it's normal... if you need anything, just text me, okay ? »
You nod a little.
She gives you a hug and is about to leave.
You : « Talia ? »
Talia : « yes ? » turning around.
You : « please don't tell the others »
Talia : « okay, yeah sure... »
You : « thanks »
You go to your room and she leaves.

She goes back to her room, to join the others.
Cynthia : « sorry we started without you cause- where's- » frowning a bit.
Leïa : « where's y/n ? »
Talia : « she went to bed »
Josh : « really ? »
Leïa : « is she okay ? »
Talia : « she was just really tired, but we can continue to play » changing the subject and sitting with them.
Payton does not talk much, he knows you were not just tired.

So they continue to play.
Cynthia : « so.. Leïa, truth or dare ? »
Leïa : « truth » 😌
Cynthia : « what do you think of Anthony ? » 😌
Leïa : « randomly, right ? » raising her eyebrows, smiling a bit.
Cynthia : « totally » 🙂😌
Leïa : « well, I like him a lot »
Cynthia : « that's all ? »
Leïa : « ugh »
Anthony : « come on » 😌 waiting for more.
Leïa : « well.. I think he's funny, kind, um.. intelligent, handsome- but a LITTLE too confident »
He shakes his head a little, smiling, looking satisfied.
Cynthia : « okay okay » 😌
Leïa : « my turn, so.. Jaden, truth or dare ? » 😌
Jaden : « dare »
Leïa : « give a kiss to the person of your choice »
He thinks for a few seconds, then turns to Jade who is next to him. She looks at him like that :

Jaden : « what ? » laughing a bit.
Jade : « nothing » a little embarrassed.
Jaden puts his hands on her cheeks and gives her a kiss on the forehead.
Jade smiles a bit.
Leïa : « but Jaden » 💀
Jaden : « you said a kiss, you didn't say where »
Leïa raises her eyes a little.
Jaden : « she's still taken » with a little smile.
Madi : « you're so cute »
Jaden : « okay well, Josh, truth or dare ? »
Josh : « truth »
Jaden : « tell us your top 3 of the girls you could date here »
Josh laughs a bit.
Josh : « okay well, I would say Cynthia- no wait actually, y/n, she's not here but she's in the group, so it counts, right ? »
Payton looks at him, then looks away.
Jaden : « okay yeah »
Josh : « so y/n, Cynthia and.. Madi » clenching his teeth a little.
Chris : « dude »
Josh : « it's okay, she's the last one in my ranking » raising his hands, laughing a bit.
Chris : « yeah, watch out » smiling a bit.
Madi : « uh, like I could date Josh » raising her eyes a little, laughing a bit.
Cynthia : « even me » making big eyes, then smiling a bit.
They all laugh.
Josh : « eh »
Madi : « come on » smiling a bit.
Cynthia : « but you're nice » :

Chase : « "nice" » laughing.
Josh : « yeah okay, I get it » 🤡
Anthony : « you still have y/n » laughing a bit.
Leïa : « uh-uh, she has Matt, forget it »
Josh : « yeah that's what I'm gonna do I think » 🤡
They continue the game for a little while without anything more exciting happening. And then, they end up going to bed.
