Chapter Five

Venus’s P.O.V
It was now the next day and my mom had driven me to school this morning to see everyone who had Biology with Mr. Molina waiting in the parking lot and I noticed Jasper with Alice and Edward and Marcus, “have a good day sweetie and have fun on your field trip” my mom shouted out the window, “I will mom, love you” I said waving to her before walking up to Jasper and holding his hand and kissed his cheek, “hey darlin” he said as we walked up to where the others were gathering, “did you sleep well” Jasper asked me and I nodded before he wrapped his arm around me, “Hey guys, come on. We gotta go. We gotta go. Green is what? Good. Let’s go” Mr. Molina said and we all got on the bus after Mr. Molina had told us to go on the other one before we finally left for the green houses. By the time we finally got there, I had noticed that Jasper was a little stiff looking, “hey, everything alright?” I asked as I held his hand and he squeezed it a little, “yeah I’m alright, just glad to get off the bus” he said to me, “are you sure, you looked a little stiff?” I asked him, feeling worried, “yeah. I’m fine. Just as long as you’re here I’ll be fine” he said with a smirk and I nodded and I could feel myself calming down as we soon walked into a greenhouse and I looked at the flowers as we passed by with a small smile on my face until I felt Jasper let go of my hand to see him pick a flower and place it behind my ear, “before you ask, I’m sure they won’t notice a flower missing” he said and I giggled a little before he kissed my cheek and held my hand again. Later on as the field trip was coming to an end, everyone had gone outside to later see Bella and Edward talking, “what are they talking about?” I wondered, “Bella thinks he regrets saving her from being hit from the Van the other day” Jasper said to me until we walked up to them and Jasper kept a distance, “hi. Are you going to be riding with us?” Alice asked Bella, “no, our bus is full” Edward said before knocking  on the bus’s door and the four of us walked in and I waved to Bella and we all sat down, “hey, is everything alright with you two or something” I asked Edward, “yeah everything’s fine. I just don’t want to talk about it right now” he said looking out the window and I sighed, “alright then” I said leaning back into the seat and I pulled the flower from behind my ear and looked at it as I smiled to myself before Jasper had lifted my hand and kissed it.

We had finally made it back to the school and it was the end of the school day and I walked off the bus with Jasper as we headed for his carto see Emmett and Rose were already there, “hey Venus. Alice and I were wondering if you wanted to go shopping with us this weekend if you’re up for it” Rose asked me as Jasper and I stood next to the cars, “oh yeah I forgot to ask you while we were on the field trip earlier” Alice mentioned and I chuckled, “yeah sure, sound’s nice” I said to them and Alice jumped up and down with excitement, “is she always like this” I asked never really seeing her this excited except for allowing her to do my hair every once and a while during our English class together, “oh yeah, and I will warn you now that she will try and get you to try things on whether you want to or not” Rose said and I chuckled as we all got in the cars and Jasper had driven me home. By the time we got to my place, I was about to get out of the car before Jasper gently grabbed my hand, “leave your window open tonight?” he asked and I smiled before kissing him, “I love you” I said breaking away from the kiss, “I love you to darlin” he said before he let go of my hand and I walked inside to see that my mom wasn’t home and I decided to call and see where she was. After the call had ended, I had found out that she had headed out to get some groceries after a Job Interview that she had today and I went straight to my room and dropped my things on the floor before opening my window a little for when Jasper comes around and just after I had gotten changed for the rest of the night I went to lay down and turn on the T.V and Jasper soon came through my window, “how are you feeling?” I asked him as he laid down next to me, “I’m alright. Better now actually, both Emmett and I went hunting not long after we had gotten home earlier” he said holding me close to him, “alright” I said as we both just laid there for the rest of the night relaxing before I fell asleep that night.

When the next morning came around, I woke up to the sound of my alarm and before noticing that Jasper was still here and I smiled to myself before kissing his cheek, “Morning Darlin, how did you sleep?” he asked with a smile, “Morning Jazz and I slept pretty good” I told him before looking around to find something to wear before changing and getting my things together, “I’ll see you later alright” he said as he wrapped his arms around me, “alright, I love you” I said with a small smile, “I love you to” he said before kissing me and jumped out the window and I chuckled a little before heading downstairs to see my mom in the kitchen, “good morning sweetie. How did you sleep?” She asked me and gave me a plate of food, “I slept pretty good” I told her before I started to eat and by the time I was done my mom and I walked out of the house and got in the car before she drove me to school. By the time I got to school I said goodbye to my mom and saw Jasper with the others and walked over to them as they stood by their cars, “hey Venus'' Rose said and I waved, “hey” I said to her, “I was wondering if we could exchange numbers so that we can keep in touch since me, you and Alice will be hanging out this weekend, I mean if that’s alright with you” Rose said and I nodded, “yeah for sure” I said and she gave me her phone and I put in my number before giving it back to her just before the bell rang and we all headed inside and went to class. When lunch finally came around, I went to sit with Mike and the others for a bit before Bella came around, “hey. La Push baby, you in'' Eric asked her as she set her things down, “should I know what that means?” she asked wondering, “La Push beach down at the Quileute Rez. we’re all going tomorrow” Mike told her, “and there’s a big swell coming in'' Jessica mentioned, “and I just don’t surf the internet” Eric said standing up, “Eric you stood up once, and it was a foam board” Jessica said and I laughed, “but there’s Whale watching to. Come with us?” Angela asked Bella, “La Push baby, it’s La Push” Eric said in an accent, “ok I’ll go if you stop saying that and if Venus is going to right” Bella said, “oh yeah you should come with us to” Angela said, “yeah come along space girl, it will be fun” Mike said and I laughed at the name, “what’s with space girl” I asked him chuckling, “your name is a planet is it not. I thought it made sense and I’m calling you that from now on as a nickname so get use to it” Mike said, “I can’t unfortunately, I already have plans” I told them just before the bell rang for lunch to end and I walked up to Jasper as we both walked to our next class together for the day.

The weekend finally came around and I had gotten a text from Rose and asked for my address and I did so before  had gotten ready for the day and by the time I was done getting dressed, I had gotten another text from Rose saying that both herself and Alice were on their way to get me and I made sure that I had everything before heading downstairs, “hey sweetie” my mom said as I was putting on my shoes, “hey mom. I’m going to hang out with a few friends if that’s alright” I answered, “yeah that’s fine honey and have fun” she said to me and I smiled, “do you want me to bring back anything for you?” I asked her as I stood at the door, “no thank you dear, I’m alright” she said and I checked my phone to see that Rose had said that she was here, “alright then, let me know anyways if you change your mind. I gotta go now because Rose and Alice are here” I told her, “alrighty, have fun” she said and I waved goodbye before I walked out the door and got in the car. Throughout the time I had spent with Alice and Rose and I now know what Rose had meant about Alice having me try on multiple things at a time and since prom was coming up soon, I decided to get my Prom Dress with their help until I finally found the one that I liked and got it before we all decided to leave after many hours of shopping before leaving one of the stores after getting in the car, “Venus, you're definitely coming over to our place one day” Alice said, “yeah, I’m sure Jasper would eventually ask her to come by one day though if you think about it Alice considering they have been dating for a few months now” Rose mentioned, “yeah I know, I just thought he would have by now I suppose” Alice said to Rose as she drove, “well, I’m sure her will. I’ll just let him ask when he feels ready” I said to both of them before we finally made it back to my place, “well, it was nice hanging out with you Venus” Alice said before I got out, “yeah. It was nice spending time with you” Rose said, “the same to the both of you. I’ll see you guys at school” I told them before getting out of the car and waved before walking inside and just spending the rest of the day and weekend with my mom.
