Venus’s P.O.V
By the time we made it inside Ophelia rushed over to me and hugged me, “mommy” she said and I lifted her up and kissed her cheek before noticing Vladimir and Stefan staring, “mommy who are they? Are they Grandpa’s friends?” she asked me as she looked at them, “something like that” I told her as Renesmee came into the room as well and saw the both of them and they both showed them their memories and they were both shocked and surprised about what they had seen until I asked bree if she could take Ophelia into the other room along with Renesmee as we all ended up in the living room and I stood with both my mom and Jasper, “when Aro wants someone from a coven, it’s never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime” he told everyone, “so he’s done this before?” Bella asked and he nodded, “it happens so rarely. I never realized it was a pattern.” Eleazar said to everyone, “apparently he always pardons one person who's thought’s he claims are repentant.” Carlisle mentioned, “this person always has an ability. And they are always given a place with the guard.” Eleazar said, “this is all about Alice. He has no one like her” Edward mentioned, “which is why she left” Bella spoke up, “I feel like there’s more to it as to why she and Marcus left. There has to be” I said and they stayed silent for a bit before someone else spoke up, “but why does he need witnesses?” Emmett wondered, “to spread the word that justice has been served. After he slauters an entire coven” the man said and I looked at Jasper and held his hand, “Benjamin, Tia we’re leaving” Amun said as he and the women he was with walked up to the pair, “and where will you go. What makes you think he’ll be satisfied with Alice. What’s to stop them from going after Benjamin next or Zafrina, Kate, Venus or anyone else with a gift, anyone they want. Their goal isn’t punishment, it's power, it’s acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight, but I will, for the sake of my family, but also for yours. And food the way you want to live” Edward said to not just Amun, but to everyone in the room as it went silent until Jacob was the first to stand up, “the packs will fight. We’ve never been afraid of Vampires” he said as more people began to stand up and join but when Benjamin pitched in, Amun had tried talking him out of it but let’s just say it backfired on him, “well that didn’t take much, “the man I now know was Vladimir spoke mainly to Stefan, “let's hope it doesn’t come to that” Edward said and everyone just went about with their night and I went to check up on Ophelia to see that she was now asleep and I quietly walked into the room and kissed her forehead, “I love you my sweet. Sleep well my darling” I whispered to her and I noticed a small smile on her face and soon left the room.

Not long after I left I walked up to Jasper and smiled a little as we both sat in the living room, “how is she?” he asked as he was talking about our daughter, “she’s asleep” I told him letting out a sigh, “what’s wrong?” Jasper asked and I thought about it, “I don’t know, but I feel fine physically but Mentally, I feel like I’m drowning” I told him as I looked at him and he kissed my cheek, “I’m sure you’re not the only one darlin” he told me and we just continued to talk for the rest of the night. When the next day came around and I was playing with Ophelia until I noticed Bella walk up with Renesmee as they both joined, “we were thinking of training my ability, do you want to join?” Bella asked me, “yeah, that would be nice, especially since I haven’t been using it much” I said to her, “she looks a lot like Jasper'' Bella said about Ophelia as I looked at her with a smile, “yeah she does and Renesmee looks more like you” I said to her before the both of us decided to head out to see the others were already there, “now that the both of you are finally here, the first thing you need to do is visualise it, see how it moves, what color it is. Picture it expanding, will it go beyond you” kate said to us and I thought about what she said and I began to notice Ice forming underneath my feet as it got bigger before I saw snow falling from the sky and I smiled to myself as I looked up before I stopped along with Bella, “that was awesome” I said chuckling, “I think they need something to motivate them” Kate mentioned to Edward and Jasper, “what” I said and Bella and I just looked at each other before realizing what she meant as Edward and Jasper walked up, “wait hold on a second, the last thing you want is to be impaled by spike’s of ice” I said to her, “I think you can do more than just that Venus if you try hard enough” she said and I became worried not just for Jasper but for her as well, “I’ll go first then” Edward mentioned, “no” Bella said, “it’s alright I can take it” he said to her, “he says that now” Garrett said, “not helping” I said to him as they went on and Bella continued to try, “focus Bella, or it’s going to be hurting” Emmett said to her, “Edward I’m not ready to do this” Bella said but he had done so anyways and he soon fell to his knees as soon as he touched Kate’s hand, “I’m sorry, I said that I wasn’t ready” Bella told him, “dude, you’re not motivating her” Emmett said to him, “you wanna try” we both said the same time but he said nothing and raised his hands in defence and Bella continued to try.

As Kate had done the same as before and also ended the same as the first time as well as Edward had again fallen to his knees, “Kate” Bella said with irritation, “you seem to lack incentive. Shall I go see if Renesmee is awake” and Bella thought otherwise, “alright this one’s on full power” she said as she raised her hand and this time it worked as Bella’s shield had completely shielded Edward as he only winced slightly, “it’s working” I said amazed as I watched, “it’s painful, but it’s bearable” Edward said as Kate had let go of his arm, “alright, Venus’s turn” Bella said as Jasper walked up and I let out a shaky sigh, “remember what I said before” Kate said and I nodded and she raised her hand toward Jasper and as she was about to rest it on Jaspers arm, some kind of frost had covered his arm as if to numb the pain that kate’s ability caused as he hadn’t fallen to his knees, “I think it’s numbing the pain as it covers my arm” Jasper mentioned and I was to focused and amazed by it until it soon went away after Kate had taken her hand off his arm, “alright, let’s go again” Bella said and I smiled, “yeah let’s go, Garrett” I said, “Emmett” Edward spoke up, and they both panicked a little, “I’m good” Emmett said, “oh come on. Don’t be such babies” I said to them and they both just looked at each other before giving in and continued to stand next to each other while Bella and I were on either side of them and Kate nodded asking if they were ready and just before Kate rested her hand on both Garrett’s and Emmett’s arms, the frost appeared on Garrett’s arm while Bella used her shield on Emmett as the same thing had happened the first time until we stopped, “Jasper’s right, I can barely feel anything” Garrett said as he rubbed his arm and we all decided to head inside for the day. Later that night, I was in Jasper and I’s room as I was putting Ophelia to bed for the night and read her a bedtime story until she had fallen asleep and when she did I moved some of her hair out of her face and caressed her cheek and gently placed a kiss on her forehead, “goodnight my sweet Ophelia. I love you my darling, sleep well” I whispered to her before quietly leaving the room.
