Chapter Twenty Six

Venus’s P.O.V
It was another day and I was just thinking about everything like I have been for the last few days and I was in Jasper’s room while him and the others except for Edward, had gone hunting for the night and I began to get a little hungry and headed downstairs to be met up by Bella and Edward, “hey, Alice said you’d be coming by'' I said with a smile, “yeah. I know everyone has probably asked you this multiple times already but how are you doing by the way, I heard my dad was at your house” she said and I nodded, “I could b better and yeah he was, someone must have placed a call or something about it” I told her and she nodded, “well I’ll let you two be. I’m sure you want to be alone” I said with a chuckle as I walked past them both and walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink before heading back upstairs and walked into the room and decided to watch a movie. Later that night, I had fallen asleep until I had woken up to someone gently kissing my cheek and I opened my eyes to see that it was Jasper and I smiled a little, “sorry darlin, I didn’t mean to wake you” he said and I smiled a little more, “it’s alright” I told him as he got into bed next to me and I wrapped my arms around him, “how was the hunt?” I asked him as my eyes closed, “it was good” he said and I soon drifted back to sleep again and the last thing I remember was feeling him gently kiss my cheek again, “goodnight darlin” I heard him say slightly before I fell into a deep sleep.

It was the next day and both Bella and I were marking certain things that were leading up to the clearing and by the time I made it there, I had seen both Bella and Edward talking with one another and I walked up to them to see how things were until I heard him mention a ring, “what’s this ring I heard about?” I asked with a smirk and the both of them just looked at each other before Bella looked back at me, “Edward proposed to me last night and I said yes” she said and I went wide eyed, “oh my god, congratulations” I said and hugged the both of them, “took you long enough” I said to Edward and chuckled a bit and he did as well and Jacob after the both of them had talked about him for a bit, “whose head is unclear?” Jacob asked as we turned to see him walking up to us along with Jared, “nobody’s I hope” Bella told him, “Alice says there’s a storm coming” Edward mentioned, “yeah I can feel it. We should get going” Jacob said as he looked at Jared, “I’ll see you two in a couple of hours” Edward said as he kissed Bella's forehead and the both of us nodded before he left, “something up?” Jacob asked us, “nope” I said as Bella shook her head, “bunch of Vampires trying to kill us.” Bella said to him before both Jacob and Jared had picked the both of us up, “same old, same old” Jacob said, “seems pretty normal to me” I said and they chuckled a bit and Jared and Jacob soon brought us to the Campsite.

Julia’s P.O.V
We were now on our way back to Forks and I was walking next to Bree as worry filled my body as I wasn’t exactly sure how this would play out especially when they had passed around two pieces of clothing, one of them being my daughter’s hoodie and in that moment, I wanted to run but I wasn’t sure if Riley would have noticed so I decided to play it safe for now as I thought about running or hiding when this whole battle started and thought about looking to find Venus instead as that was my top priority along with taking in Bree as well I hope that she will be alright with staying with me. I was soon brought out of my thoughts when we had all come to a stop and saw water in front of us until Riley was the first to jump in and everyone had soon begun to do the same thing and I soon followed along with the others in hopes that this whole thing would end soon and after some time of being in the water, we had finally emerged and had walked to shore and the entire time, Bree had stayed next to me and I looked at her and gave her a slight smile and she soon returned it as we soon continued to walk with the others. 

Venus’s P.O.V
Bye the time we had finally made it to the Campsite to see that Bella and Jacob had beaten us there and Jared had set me down on the ground and I soon walked up to Bella and Edwar, “thank you” I heard Edward say to Jacob and Jared and the both of them just nodded, “you should get back before the storm hits” Bella told the two, “no, Jared and I are staying. You’ll need my connection to the Pack to keep tabs on what’s going on” Jacob said to us, “you’re not going to fight?” Bella asked him, “Seth will spell us in the morning” Jacob said, “he’s not happy about missing the action, but it’ll keep him out of trouble” Jared said to us, “let’s get you two inside” Edward said and we soon walked into the tent that he had set up prior and both Bella and I just talked for a while until the both of us had gotten into our sleeping bags later on before the SnowStorm hit and Bella had begun to shiver a lot more than I was since it wasn’t the first time for me to be camping out during the winter so I could say that I was use to it, “I should have chosen a site lower down” Edward said to us and I could tell that he was feeling guilty, “no it’s fine. I’m ok” Bella said, “what can I do?” Edward asked and nobody said anything, “you know, you shouldn’t feel guilty about any of this” I said to him and he didn’t say anything and not long after, we heard the zipper and saw Jacob and Jared crawl inside, “can’t sleep with all that teeth chattering” Jacob said as he zipped up the entrance, “forget it” Edward said to them, “they may need their toes some day and let's face it, we are hotter than you” Jacob said to him and I knew that they were going to argue and Edward soon gripped his hand on Jacos shoulder, “get your hand off of me” Jacob said to him, “keep your hands off them” Edward said, “don’t fight” Bella managed to say to them, “if they get sick, it’s on you” Jacob said as Edward moved away and soon enough, both Jared and Jacob had moved to Bella and I and I immediately began to warm up, “wow you’re freezing Bella. Relax, you’ll warm up soon” Jacob said and there was silence again until he spoke up again, “faster if you took your clothes off” he said as if he was trying to pick a fight, “you’re an ass” I said to him, “survival 101” he said to us after a moment of silence, I soon began to drift off to sleep. 

It was now the next morning and I had woken up to see that everyone was gone and I soon rushed out of the tent to see Bella standing in front of a wolf and I sighed a little, “hey” I said before looking at the wolf standing in front of her and I smiled a little until I noticed Edward walking towards us, “where’s Jacob and Jared. Did they already-?” she asked him, “not yet. They’re checking to see if the woods are clear before they go” he told us and I went to go and pet the wolf and I giggle a little when it leaned into my hand before it decided to leave and I turned around to face Bella and Edward and they both talked amongst themselves and I decided to give them a little privacy as I walked away from them a little bit and thought about everything that I have been through with Jasper and I was soon brought out of my thought’s when I heard Jacob, “you’re marrying him?” he asked her sounding angry, “Jake, don’t start” I said to him but he ignored me and Bella stumbled on her words before turning back to Edward, “you knew he was listening” Bella said to Edward, “he deserves to know'' Edward told her and Jacob soon began to walk away, “Jake stop” Bella began to say until Edward grabbed her arm, “DON’T” she shouted at him and rushed after Jacob and I sighed a little, “are you sure he should have found out now?” I asked him and he shrugged, “well there’s no going back now” he said and I sighed again until I noticed him furrowed his brows, “what is it?” I asked him, “his thoughts are all over the place” he said, “I would be surprised if he doesn’t do anything stupid” I said just before Bella came back, “and I might stand corrected” I said to him before she spoke, “you saw” she said to him, “no but, Jacob’s thoughts are pretty loud” he said to her, “I don’t know what happened” she said and I continued to stand there not knowing what to say or do, “you love him” Edward said and my eyes went wide, “I love you more” she said to him, “I know” Edward spoke, “well glad we got that settled, “I said mainly to myself and they both looked at me, “what. Don’t want to have another fight and I’m sure I’m not the only one” I said before we heard footsteps and saw the same wolf from before and both Bella and I looked at Edward, “what is it?” I asked him and he looked at the both of us, “it’s starting,'' he said.
