Chapter Nineteen

Venus’s P.O.V
It was the next day and I woke up to see Jasper looking down at me and I smiled as I soon pressed a kiss to his lips and let out a chuckle as he moved on top of me, “morning darlin” he said to me, “good morning my love” I said as we looked into each other's eyes before kissing each other again and after sometime had gone by, the both of us had gone downstairs to see everyone already down there and I noticed Emmett playing a video game and I went to join him for a bit and I had beat him the first few times in some games until I stopped playing when I felt someone tapping my shoulder, “I’ve made Breakfast for you if that’s alright” Esme said with a smile, “thank you” I said and got up after putting the controller down on the table and went to eat the food Esme had made. Later that day it was now the afternoon and everyone was in the living room until we all noticed Edward walk in with Bella as they came down the stairs and I began to wonder if everything was alright, “you all know what I want. And I know how much I’m asking for. The only thing that I could think of for it to be fair is to just vote.” Bella said to everyone and I knew there were mixed emotions about what Bella was asking, “you know what you’re talking about” Edward said to her, “Alice” Bella said calling her out, “I already consider you my sister, and the same goes for Venus” she said as she walked up to Bella and hugged her, “yes” Alice said as she moved away from the hug, “I vote yes. It would be nice to not want to kill you all the time” Jasper said and I gently rubbed his back, “I’m sorry. I’m really sorry to both of you for how I’ve acted. And I’m really grateful that you were brave enough to go and save my brother. But this isn’t a life I would have chosen for myself. And  wish that there had been someone to vote no for me not just for you but for Venus as well. So no” Rose said to Bella and it was understandable since everyone here didn’t really have a choice in becoming a Vampire to begin with, “I vote hell yeah. And we can pick a fight with these Volturi some other way” Emmett said as he spun Bella around, “I already consider you and Venus a part of the Family. Yes” Esme said to Bella as she also looked at me and Carlisle soon walked towards Edward, “why are you doing this to me? You know what this means” Edward asked him, “you’ve chosen not to live without her and the same goes for Jasper he almost broke when he wasn’t able to see Venus, which leaves me no choice. I won’t lose my sons.” Carlisle said to Edward and Edward soon walked back up the stairs and Bella followed.

After some time had gone by we were all talking about what had happened earlier and Rose walked up to me, “can I talk to you for a second?” she asked and I nodded before getting up from the couch and followed her into the other room, “you do understand why I said what I said earlier right?” she said and I nodded, “yeah and I’m assuming neither one of you had a choice in becoming what you are. I already knew Jasper didn’t have much of a choice so I kinda figured” I said and she nodded, “yeah, but for now, both yourself and Bella do, most of us in this house were changed because we were dying from something that happened to us but Jasper is a different story” she said and I nodded, “I understand. No need to worry about me. Living forever does seem nice though to be honest, except for having to kill something to stay alive” I said and we both chuckled about it before she hugged me, “and this is why I like you the most'' she whispered in my ear before we moved away from the hug and went back into the other room for a while longer until Alice had come up to Rose and I, “since Graduation is soon, I was thinking of having a parting” she said with a big smile on her face and my first concern was Jasper, “are you sure you should?” I asked her and she nodded and I looked at Jasper and he had a small smile on his face and I nodded, “alright, do you need help with it or something?” I asked her before she dragged Rose and I off the couch and into another room and I chuckled a bit as the three of us talked about the party and helped her make a playlist as one of the first things and did a few other things as well by the time we had finally finished picking out the music, “you’re really into this stuff aren’t you?” I asked Alice and she quickly nodded, “yeah I have been for a while now actually” she said with a smile on her face as we soon continued with the planning throughout the rest of the day.

Later on, as it was starting to get late I had decided to head back into Jasper’s room to pack everything that I had brought with me and headed back downstairs to see Jasper waiting for me, “ready to go?” he asked and I nodded and Alice had soon rushed over to me and gave me a hug along with Marcus, Emmett and Rose who had done the same and Carlisle and Esme had later done the same as I said goodbye to all of them before both Jasper and I had walked out the door and got in the car as he soon drove me home, “do you want me to leave my window open tonight?” I asked him as I looked over to see that he was concentrating on the road and he soon grabbed my hand and held it, “sure” he said with a small smile and I went to look back out the window as he drove me home for the night. By the time we finally got back to my place and the both of us got out of the car and made it to my front door, “well I’ll see you later” I said to him and he smiled and before we said anything else, we noticed the door open and saw that it was my mom with an eyebrow raised, “I’ll see you later. Have a good night Mrs. white” Jasper said before he kissed my cheek and walked back to his car and I soon waved goodbye before walking into the house, “do you want some tear sweetie, I just boiled the kettle?” asked, “yes please mom” I said as I set my things down by the stairs and sat down on the couch, “so how are you and Jasper doing?” she asked as she came back into the living room and handed me the mug as she sat down, “not bad. We’re trying to get everything back to normal” I told her as I took a sip and we both continued to talk about it before I headed back up stairs for the night and unpacked everything before getting changed into some Pajamas before opening the window a little bit when Jasper came by and when he did, we both just laid there in bed and talked for what felt like ages until I fell asleep
