Part 6

Sebastian's POV:

She said bye to everyone at the adoption centre and got in the car. I asked if i could carry her things, and she only let me carry one of her duffel bag and suitcase. She carried the other one, and her skateboard. She also had a backpack, but she just had that on her back. When we drove off, it got a it awkward. I didn't know what to say, and she was just on her phone, playing a game. "So...." i started "So...". Wow i didn't know it would be this awkward. "Sorry it's awkward, i just don't want to freak you out and all." "No, it's fine. i don't mind." "Ok. So are you excited?" She hesitated for a bit before answering. "um, yeah i guess. I mean i am going to miss everyone there, but i wasn't too close, knowing that if this happened, it won't be too emotional." I just nodded. "Have you ever been adopted?" i asked. 

I knew she has but i want to know why she isn't with them now. "No. i haven't before." i was a little confused as to why she lied to me. "oh, really? i thought you have?" She was silent for a bit before she realised what i was talking about. "Oh god. You got the file. ughhh" "hey, no it's alright we don't have to talk about if you don't want to." "Yeah, that would be nice thanks." She said before relaxing a bit, but not fully. "What else was in that file, because i think i know what's in there." I paused a bit before answering. "um. just stuff about you, your age, when you first arrived at the adoption centre and stuff like that. Also where you came from. Which i wanted to ask something about." "Shoot. i might not answer depending on what it is though." She said. "Your British?" She looked at me with a 'seriously' look, before saying "Nooooo, i'm Australian. I just have a British accent for fun you know?" She said in a sarcastic tone. I started laughing, "No but seriously i am. I just moved here when i was 4, before i was out in the adoption centre." I just hummed and nodded. 

"I wanted to ask. Um why were you in the adoption care? Like did you parents die, or?" I asked curiously. She was quiet for a bit, before huffing. "I'm only asking because it didn't really say why on the file." I cleared up. She stayed quiet before answering. "umm. yeah, i don't really want to say why." "oh ok" "Look. It's not cause i don't like you. It's cause i don't trust people quickly, and only a few people actually know why i was there. I will tell you, but just not now."She answered. "yeah that's fine. I don't want you to feel pressured into telling me anything. You can tell me in your own time." She just nodded. After that i just turned on the radio, and it was silent the rest of the way back. It wasn't awkward though, it was more peaceful. We drove for about 10 more minutes before i pulled up into my house.

We got out and she got her duffel bag, skateboard and backpack, while i got the suitcase and other duffel bag. "You know, i though you would have more stuff." i said. "What do you mean?" "Like i thought you would have boxes full of clothes and stuff like that." "Well being a foster kid, you don't always have stuff like that. But i don't always go shopping, also i have the same sort of clothes." i just hummed and nodded. I unlocked the door, letting her go in before i went in, and turned on the lights. "You can put your skateboard here, or you can put it in your room. Your choice." She nodded and kept it with her, so i guess she's keeping it. I can give you a tour later. I just thought you would want to see your room first. You know to put you stuff away." "Yeah that's fine." She replied back before following me up the stairs. "ok so this is my room." i said pointing to mine, "There are some guess bedrooms, down the hall. And just over here is your room." I said before opening the door, showing her, her room. 

"I got one of my friends to help, with it. If you don't like it you can change it." she was looking around the room. "No, no it's really nice. Thank you. But you didn't have to do all of this. I would've have been fine with just a plain room, i am used to living in a plain room, cuz of the foster home." She said while putting the bags and skateboard down. "nonsense. I wanted you to feel comfortable. and i wanted to go all out for you, because you will be living here." "well thank you, really." "it's no problem." i said with a smile and she smiled back. "Do you want a tour, or do you want to have a shower first?" "Why, are you saying i smell?" "what! no, no, i just thought-" she interrupted me saying,  "i'm joking,i want to freshen up anyways." she said with a smirk at the end. I shook my head and laughed. "ok, well there are some towels in the bathroom which is just in there." "no cuz i thought that was the kitchen." she said with a smirk. I gave her a stern look and chuckled. "You should really stop doing that." "i know, i get told that A LOT, especially by teachers. but i don't know, it just comes out." She then whispered something after she said that, but i couldn't hear what she said "Wait, what did you say?" "oh nothing." I let it go. "ok well if you need me, i will be downstairs." "mkay" she said walking to the bathroom and closing the door. 

a/n:this is quite a long one sorry. ha that's wht she said. soz, anyways. with the bedroom thing, i know that it doesn't add up, i just couldn't find any full room pics. Also if you don't want that style you can think of something else.  when she whispered something, she said "that's wht she said" i have a dirty mind, so i just had to add that. byeeeeeeeee love ya <3.
