I got home from lectures, exhausted, tired and lazy. I went to lectures from Zahrah's house because that was basically where I spent the night yesterday.

I went to my sister's room to check up on her, if she was home. Getting there, I saw her on a white fitted gown, sprawled out on her bed. Seems like she went out late last night. I decided to leave her to rest. I went into the kitchen to prepare something. I checked the cabinets and the only easy, ready to make food I could see was noodles. So I made it and grabbed a bottle of coke from the fridge to take it down.

I used the opportunity to check my IG account, I was not as popular as my sister on IG with people following me around but still I had something. I went off the app and concentrated on my food. Few minutes later, Nessa walked past me into the kitchen. She didn't even acknowledge my presence. It seemed like she was still angry with me, but it's been three days already. She soon came out of the kitchen with toast bread on a plate with orange juice as she strolled into the sitting room where I sat. The TV had been off since I was there but when she sat down she reached for the remote and turned it on. She scanned various channels and settled for a series, Lion's Den.

Once I was done eating, I took my plate to the sink and washed it. I went into my room and took my laptop ready to download some movies. When I was done downloading, I watched Squid Game. I soon received a message from my phone.

Heyy. I didn't know who it was because it was an unknown number so I ignored it.

So it's true what they say about you. Feisty babe. Anyways I'm Femi. Does the name ring a bell. ?.

Femi?? Femi... Femi?? Ohhh Femi. The guy from that party. Zahrah ..ohh

It doesn't. Prolly wrong number so goodbye. With that I blocked the number straight up and went back to my movie. I made a mental note to kill Zahrah when next I saw her. I was thirsty so I decided to go into the kitchen to grab some water. I passed the sitting room and saw Nessa laugh heartily to whoever she was making a call with. I've never seen her laugh so much. I missed those days when I used to be the one making her laugh this much. But then,I had to ruin everything. It's all my fault.

I took a glass, poured the bottled water into it and took a whole gulp. It was refreshing. I went back into the room. She was still smiling so much but I wondered who it was that made her smile. I highly doubt that it'd be Susan. I always hated that girl. Plus I think her relationship with my sister was one-sided. Which it definitely was.

Vanessa POV

I woke up, feeling finally refreshed. I went to take a cold shower, then I felt hungry. So I went into the kitchen, I saw Neto on her phone, I just walked past her. I wasn't vexed about three days ago anymore. I just wanted her to come apologize. I'm tired of being the one apologizing.

Going into the kitchen, I was craving toast. So I made it and took a glass of orange juice. I went into the sitting room where she was. I knew she wouldn't watch TV, so I decided to turn it on as a distraction. She left as soon as she was done. A call came in from an unknown number, I picked it up. Unlike Neto, I always picked unknown numbers, who knows, it might a friend in need of help trying to call you in emergency times.

It was Dave, I was so elated. And we got talking. He was really funny and I kinda liked him. As a friend.

So how about we link up later on ??
