New updateee..

~~~~~
Vanessa.
I tried my best convincing Neto to follow me home, but she bluntly refused.
Immediately I got down from the aeroplane, I called Mom and she said she sent her driver along to get US. She gave me his number and I called him. I got to where he was and got into the car. Abuja just be looking sleek everytime.
We once lived in Lagos where we schooled, that was even my birth town until dad opened a new branch of his company in Abuja and thought it was best we moved. He still decided to make us do our university education in UNILAG (University of Lagos) saying it was best. I didn't argue but trust Neto to rebel, she said she wanted a private school. He said he didn't want any of his children in spoilt private universities.
Wale, mom's driver drove into dad's estate and in less than fifteen minutes, we were at the mansion. It was one of dad's best architecture. He made it bigger and better than the one in Lagos. Wayyy better.
I jumped down from the car and ran inside the house. I was elated to be back home.
"Home sweet home." I walked into the mansion. The living room was the first you would see, it was the biggest room in the mansion. It had white sofas with gold embroidery and gold wood on it. The chandeliers were bright shiny gold as well. The huge smart TV was placed on the wall, beside the sofas and a huge family portrait hung above it.
"Nwam ohh " my mother screamed as soon as she saw me. I rushed to hug her. I haven't seen this woman in a year now.
"Mummm. I've missed you guys so much."
" Where's Netochukwu? Did she go in without seeing me?"
"Mmmhhm??"
"Chisom, where is your sister?"
"Mum. Mum, you need to calm down. She didn't come back. Mum, I tried telling her to come home but she insisted on staying. When I left this morning, she didn't even tell me goodbye or drive me to the airport. She just laid in bed, sleeping. I'm sorry Mom"
"What was her excuse this time?" She sounded tired
"Mum, she said to tell you that she's sorry she can't make it that she's busy"
"Busy? How can you be too busy for your own mother? Nne gi? Anaghi-eme ya eme.(your mother? Nobody does that) Chisom, she hasn't seen me for a whole year, twelve solid months, 365 long days and she is too busy. Chisom, where did I go wrong? What did I do to your sister? Did I make a mistake? Why does she keep hurting me?" She sniffled back tears and I hugged her tightly, rubbing her back in a soothing manner.
"Mum, stop crying. She'd come around. Okay?"
"When? Chisom? When? We've been saying this for over five years now, when exactly?"
"Mum, something is wrong with her. I've said this countless times, but you and dad won't listen" my mom laughed
"You've come again, does she look like someone who's sick. Everyone is sick to you. Oya, go up to your room and freshen up. By the time you're down, we would eat and catch up on a lot." I kissed her cheek before I ran up the stairs. One of the maids had already taken my bags upstairs.
I got into my room, it smelt like lavenders and was covered in pale purple. I loved this room with it's overly soft queensized bed.  and it's perfumed scent. I jumped on the bed and lay on it.
I spent the entire day talking to Mom and gisting her about school and friends and everything. She asked a question that made me stop to think. I didn't know my sister that well.
