A picture of how the culinary school looks like...❤️

Well, I'm basically jobless today, I had no where to go, everyone as usual went on with their lives, and I was left home alone with Mary and the securities. If you're wondering why I stopped going to Aisha's cafe, well, I kinda figured that Zayed wasn't what he proposed to be, so I cut off every form of relationship I had with him. I spoke with Nadia last night, she seemed better than the last time we spoke but I know she hasn't fully gotten over Alex.
My phone rang, I reached out of bed to grab it, it was on the nightstand.
Heyyy babyy. It was Nadia
Hey. How you doing?
Well, I'm bubbling
Crazy gal.
I'm in school rii now. Wanna come? I really miss your presence and vibe
Awwwn.. y'know how my dad is now. And I don't think Nessa's ready. I actually have nothing doing here. I'm literally choking in this house
Chaiiii...I wish you're here honestly. Ehen..dat ur friend? Zahrah or what?
Yeah? What happened to her?
I saw her at a supermarket. She was with one old man like that. Kissing him openly. Have you been speaking with her recently?
Jeez..this revelation really got me. But she told me, she's in Kano. What a liar? When will she stop all her crazy things she does for money?
Hello, Valerie are you there?
Yeah..yeah..it's been long we spoke..I can't even say if we're friends anymore. Well I wish her all the best in her life.
Ohh..it's good sha..on the brighter side I have you all to myself. I chuckled, she does know how to make me feel good.
Yeah..you do.
Alright alright...I know how awesome I am and how you don't want this phonecall to end but I gotta go. Speak to ya later. Bye hunnie.
Bye Nadia.
I wish I could just go back to school. It's just a week to go before this tiring holiday is over. I'm already tired, I'm practically just barely surviving.
I walked out of my room to get fresh air, these days I'm always locked up in my room. I went over to the kitchen where the only human being in this house is.
I saw Mary bent over the sink washing rice. Mary has been our maid since I can remember. She was older than me with prolly five years or so but you wouldn't know cos she talks a lot.
"What are you cooking?" She turned around frightened. She always seemed intimidated by my presence.
"I'm ...I'm..madam said I .. should prepare rice and ofe-akwu." (Soup made from Palm fruit)
"Maryy!! Relax..I don't bite" she seemed to calm a bit.
"Sorry ma, I'm not always scared, it's just you. You scare me a lot. When I'm with you, I don't know what to expect, and what I might do before you explode." I laughed at this revelation
"Well, you can be rest assured I'm in a good mood, so I'm bored and I want to learn to cook. So let's start by you teaching me how to prepare this soup you're making." She looked at me in disbelief
"Marryy! There's no water in my mouth. Didn't you hear me" Startled, she nodded.
"Okay ma, I will. How about you start by boiling this rice while I prepare the ingredients for the soup"
