I couldn't stop thinking about Zayed and all the words he said all night. So I did have an angelic voice, Zayed wasn't the only guy who has seen me singing aside Nessa, but HE always told me I sounded like a 'screaming banshee' infact HE would cringe at my voice and say it disgusted HIM. I guess HE made me believe my voice was terrible but hearing Zayed tell me that, was just pleasant and refreshing.

I heard knocks on my door, and as usual I didn't reply it and the person at the door kept knocking. Soon, the door opened to reveal Nessa.

"I'm not hungry" I told her quickly knowing that would be the only reason she came to my room. But instead, she smiled and came to sit on my bed, I kept giving her curious, confused looks.

"What?! Can't I stay with my sister again? " I didn't reply but continued playing a game on my phone. I was so obsessed with Candy Crush.

"Neto? " She called after a long time

"Hmm??" I hummed in reply

"What exactly happened?" That question came unexpected and surprising as I raised my head swiftly.

"I don't really understand. Did something happen?" I asked in confusion.

"Don't play dumb. Y'know what I'm talking about, we were so close, so like what happened, did I do something wrong? Did I hurt you? C'mon talk to me, you've been quiet for over five years now, aren't you tired? Won't you speak out?"

I didn't reply but after a few minutes, I said,  "Why are y'all so bent on getting me to talk, and you? I remember you telling me that you don't give a fuck anymore, that I shouldn't mess up your life with my already messed up life. Wasn't that what you said? So why are you asking all these now?"

"Neto, are you being real right now? That was like five years ago, how d'you still remember it? I barely even remember it. C'mon, I was just kidding, I didn't mean it. I was so angry that day"

"Okay." I simply said

"Just that??" She questioned

"What else should I say? I don't hold any grudges, I just love being alone nowadays. So no qualms."

"Are you sure? Anyways, I came here to give you this" she said stretching a small white nylon to me. I reached out for it and looked into it. A big smile graced my lips. She still remembered my favorite kind of chocolates.

"Thanks"

"Yeah. Dave sent them and I know how much you love them so I decided to give you some."

"Awwn. Thanks. " Although I felt she didn't have to tell me Dave sent them. Chill, I'm not jealous, I just find the information unnecessary.

She stood up to leave after, I couldn't help but admire her, she was really beautiful. Immediately she left, I opened the wrapper of the chocolates and stuffed them into my mouth, basking in the delicious relish.

I felt sleepy and decided to sleep for a few minutes, by the time I woke up, it was 4 already. I went to wash my face and change into something more comfy as I went out of the room. I bumped into Mary, the housekeeper.

"Good day, ma"

"Yeah. Hey." I said walking past her.

"Ma?? Your mother said I should inform you that you all would be attending an evening party on Saturday, so you should get ready. Your father said he doesn't want your excuses and he already sent money to your account to go shopping for the event."
