I woke up to the sound of beeping machines, a few strings were connected to me. I felt like detaching them. The smell was like drugs and antiseptics. Once my lid slowly opened, I turned around, it was a room painted white and the bedsheets and blankets were blue with posters of get well soon cards and other related health info.

I gave a shrill cry when a headache hit me. I guess that called the attention of the nurses and doctor nearby, because they all came running in.

"How are you doing now? Any more pains?" The fair male doctor questioned.

"No ..just a slight headache. What exactly happened doctor?"

"I didn't expect you to remember due to side effects of what you consumed. Well, a guy said he found you slumped in a bar."

I couldn't remember what happened, but I remembered going to a bar and then ordering crazy mix-ups. But I couldn't remember anything after that, and the more I tried to remember, my head ached more.

"Who did he say he was?"

"He didn't leave a name, he just said he was a bloody Samaritan which I clearly didn't get."

"That's all he said?? What the heck does that even mean?" I asked perplexed.

"I have no idea myself. He actually footed all your bills and every other medical fee so you're all cleared"

"Are you sure you don't know this 'guy', and besides, when do I get discharged?."

"You'll be discharged today. Plus, I have something to talk to you about before you go home."

"I'll see you then, doctor"

"Cool, I'll leave you to sleep now. Anything you need, press the intercom, the nurse would come to your aid."

"Thank you" he nodded and left.

Thirty minutes later, a nurse came to my ward carrying a tray of food.

"Good morning Miss..breakfast is served"

"Ok...drop it down" I didn't exactly feel hungry. I just needed to get something into my belly. I looked at the tray, it was a tray of sliced bread and hot chocolate. I ate at least two slices and chugged down the hot chocolate which really burnt my throat, but I loved the burning sensation. I lay on the bed and decided to nap a bit.

When I woke from my nap, I cleaned up and went into the doctor's office, ready to go home.

"Come in" I heard after knocking twice. I walked in with confidence.

"Sit please. " I did

"Yeah...so I ran some tests on you. Diagnosis says that you consumed high intake of both alcohol and drugs in your system. Honestly I don't know what you're passing through but I'd advice that hard drugs is not the solution. Those drugs have consequences which will come back like a monstrous demon coming back to haunt you later.   Anyways, there's a friend of mine, Mr Niyinoluwa Farinloye, a well known therapist. He's having a kind of pep talk on drug abuse and depression right in this hospital. "

I laughed hysterically then continued, "Doctor, I respect you in the little time I've known you. So I advice you don't blow it. Plus, who says am depressed or I use drugs. For all I know, you got the wrong diagnosis. Anyways, whatsoever reason you're telling me what you're telling me, I don't wanna know."

"I'm just giving an honest suggestion---" he started

"You can as well shove your innocent suggestions up your asshole. Thank you doctor, but I have to take my leave now" he flinched, then sighed and nodded his head.  I stood up with anger radiating through me.
