Throughout the night, I kept thinking about Valerie and her problems, most especially the short kiss we shared. I don't know what prompted me to kiss her but I did that without thinking twice. I'm glad she didn't react badly like maybe slapping me away or something. Now I really want those lips on my mine again.

"Any why are you smiling like a moron?" I heard and I turned swiftly to see Alex standing by the island. I didn't even realize I was smiling.

"Was I??"I asked me stupidly. I was preparing breakfast for myself and Valerie as she was still asleep. I was frying eggs for breakfast.

"It's like you finally got her laid" the idiot said licking his lips. Sometimes, you don't know what to expect from Alex. One point he's happy and playful, the next he's all moody and engrossed in his gadgets.

"I didn't get laid with anyone, you fool." I told him and he smirked.

"Buh chill oh. You're preparing breakfast for her. Please add my own mouth oh" I gave him an unbelievable look.

"And why would I? Don't worry I'll do yours before you start crying"

"Thanks bro. Make sure it's not extra salty" he said laughing as he walked out of the kitchen. Foolish idiot. I muttered and continued with my work.

When I was done, Valerie had not still come out so I carried a tray of breakfast to my room. She was still sleeping. I dropped the tray on the vanity and walked over to her side of the bed. The shirt she was putting on had risen to just right under her ass and she was lying face down giving me a perfect view of her asset. I was this close to pressing those ass. But I cautioned myself and forced myself to look away from that area.

I squatted to get a perfect view of her perfect face. She was sleeping so peacefully, her pink heart-shaped lips puckered out pouting. Her hair was loosened from her hair band, her full afro hair went round.

She stirred in her sleep and opened her eyes. She moved back in fear of how close the proximity of our faces were.

"Hey pretty" I told her and she sat upright.

"Good morning"

"Seems you enjoyed your beauty sleep. You glowing this morning" she smiled a bit and looked around.

"How long did I sleep ? What's the time?"

"It doesn't matter what the time is. As long as you look refreshed. So I brought you breakfast." I told her.

"Hmm. Sounds good. But you didn't have to stress yourself" I smiled at her sweet words. I took her hands in mine, looking into her eyes.

"I'm not stressing myself. I did it because I want to" I said kissing her palms but she jerked it away from mine.

"Urhmm---..."she said coughing nervously.

"Yeah. So..take this and eat. I'll go shower" I told her handing her the tray and left into the bathroom.

After I was done, I put my white towel around my waist and went into the room to get dressed. She was still eating, she doesn't look like a slow eater but she's picking on her food. Maybe she doesn't like it and I felt kinda bad.

"Don't you like it? Is it too salty or something?" I asked her coming over to where she sat.
