"We're in London, it is— uhm, it's earlier than I care to really say. We're starting to shoot the video for I Don't Wanna Live Forever and I'm first, because, clearly I don't demand late enough call times," Taylor chuckled as she spoke into the camera, "Jo's asleep, somewhere in London, I imagine... under some kind of silk duvet."
On the set of the music video she sat in a white robe, about to get into hair and makeup so she could start filming her scenes before Jo showed up from their hotel room. They purposefully scheduled themselves at different times so they could leave the hotel separately and not risk being seen together.
The song hadn't come out yet and they'd recorded it before Jo's family went back to Nevada, flying out to London the day before last and doing the final work to make sure everything went to plan.
Taylor proceeded with some of her first shots and got her second outfit on before Jo arrived, a coffee in hand and her shiny attitude brightening up the place, "Good morning!"
"Hey," Taylor smiled, really wanting to lean in and kiss her, "Morning."
"I stopped and got this for you," Jo handed the Starbucks cup over, not even carrying her own.
"You're a saint," Taylor took a sip of her drink slowly.
"I know," Jo grinned, "Nice outfit."
"It's a little revealing on second thought, I don't know. I haven't shot in it yet," Taylor referred to the black lacy outfit she had just put on, still waiting to get her makeup touched up.
"Maybe, but are you comfortable?" The brunette asked, eyes locked on Taylor's gently.
"Mhmm," Taylor shrugged unsurely, looking at herself in the mirror.
Jo squeezed her shoulder as she walked past her and disappeared for a minute or two, coming back into the hair and makeup room with a black jacket in her hand, "Here, it's my extra one. Put it on, it'll be cute that you and I wore the same jacket."
Jo held it up behind Taylor's shoulders, waiting for the blonde to slip her arms into it. Jo carefully tucked one shoulder down, taking the time to look around and make sure no one was in the room before placing a chaste kiss onto the exposed shoulder blade.
"Better?" She whispered, looking at Taylor's eyes through the mirror in front of them.
"Better," Taylor smiled softly, "Thank you."
Jo backed away as she heard footsteps, the director walking in to talk to them both about their combined vision.
A little while passed, while off camera Jo either chatted up a storm to the crew and introduced herself or played her turn in Scrabble against Taylor on her phone, something they'd been doing for the last couple weeks on and off.
The day ticked on, breakfast was delivered to them and Taylor made Jo up a plate to thank her for bringing coffee earlier on, eating before filming a little more behind the scenes.
In one of the shots for the behind the scenes, Jo got a little lost watching Taylor talk about her, smiling and staring too long. The blonde looked over and smiled a little bit, "Yeah, anyways it's nice to get to work with friends 'cause you don't have to worry about getting along or not."
Jo broke away when she realized Taylor had stopped speaking, "Taylor's always been a good friend to me, since we met. She's uh- talented and professional and it's nice to get this kind of opportunity."
The camera cut and Taylor swatted Jo's shoulder gently, "Pay attention next time."
"I was!" Jo exclaimed, "Excuse me for paying attention to your glitter lip."
