Incredible - James TW (inspired by chapter 28, definitely worth re-reading while listening to the song *one of my all time favourites*

"Honey, can you play for me while I sing?" Taylor gently asked with a touch to Jo's side in their suite. They were in Arizona for Taylor's first show of the reputation tour, Jo looking out the window of the hotel room down at the city.
"I think you should rest your voice," Josephine said with a glance towards the blonde, "Don't be nervous, baby. You're going to be amazing."
"I know," Taylor looked down at the ground, "Please?"
"How about I play for you, hmm?" The brunette dismissed the girl's pout, although she tried her best to place a memory of it into her mind. She wished she had her camera out right now, something that had been going with her more often than not since she was met with Taylor's beauty.
"That doesn't get me any extra practice," Taylor replied.
"You can sing me one song, and then I'll play for you until you can't listen to me anymore, deal?" Jo caved in and started towards her guitar case.
She knew Taylor would probably be playing it herself if she could, but it was left-handed and Jo had made sure Taylor didn't have access to her own in the hotel room because she needed to relax her voice and her mind.
"Thank you, love," Taylor smiled, knowing she got her way. She watched Jo put the pick between her teeth, smiling awkwardly as she put the strap around her shoulder and returned the pick to her fingers.
"What would you like to play?" Jo inquired, hoping it was one of the songs she remembered enough of.
"Whatever you have, from the album though."
"You got it," Jo started, eyes looking down at the neck of the guitar for a moment before they flashed up at Taylor, "Do you know this one?"
Taylor cracked up a little at Jo's teasing, starting to sing softly as to not totally disturb security and the band in the rooms next to theirs.
A few minutes went by, Jo strumming while lost in Taylor's voice, Taylor looking at her with utmost adoration. The song finished, and Jo continued on with the beginning of one of her new songs, unreleased but now recorded with the help of Jack.
"I wrote this one about you when I was on tour," Jo cleared her throat, "You remember that night I took you out and we were the only ones in that private room of the restaurant? God, you looked so incredible that night and we went to Cornelia Street and danced, ran from the cars... and I still think about it all of the time."
Taylor had a tint to her cheeks, her blue eyes fondly staring into Jo's. She couldn't help but rest her head on her chin, waiting patiently with that glowing smile that followed Jo around wherever she went like a puppy.
Jo sung for her, Taylor's first time hearing this song. The blonde wasn't able to let Jo play another song once it finished, "Take your guitar off."
Jo lifted it off her body and set it down gently on the bed. Her frame was quickly coated in Taylor, lips pressed to lips, eyes closed as the sickeningly sweet kiss left a rush of warmth through her veins.
"I'm in love with you," Taylor's navy eyes glimmered when they opened.
"I'm unfathomably in love with you," Jo replied, smiling as she placed one more gentle kiss to the corner of Taylor's lips, a smooth brush as she moved past her, "You ready to go to dinner now?"
"Yeah, let me text the band and see if they're good to go," Taylor nodded. They had a celebratory dinner planned at the place across from the hotel, the background singers, dancers and band all joining them. They called ahead to the restaurant, placed the order ahead of time so it wouldn't be a huge amount of pressure for the kitchen and servers.
