Y/n pov

It was Friday afternoon, the day of the masquerade donation party. I was sitting at home watching TV, trying to distract myself, from the thought of the party. But whatever I did I kept coming back to it. I flicked through the channels all five minutes. Everything seemed to boring to   watch. Eventually I gave up. I turned it off and opened my laptop to see if I had new orders. Nope. Curse me being a workaholic. Peter wasn't here to distract me either. So it was just me and my thoughts.

I stood up and walked to the balcony. The fresh air should help me clear my mind. It did , for about three minutes until I opened my eyes and saw the brightly illuminated stark-tower right in front of me. Well now I was thinking even more about the party. I didn't wanna go but something made it seem so attracting. Maybe it was the fact that Peter was there or possibly Morgan. Maybe I wanted to donate something. The look on Tonys face would also be satisfying to see. But at the same time I did not wanna deal with it. It seemed to exhausting and the fact that I would see the Avengers again was repelling.

I was literally pacing around the living room, when I heard my doorbell ring. Wo could that be? I didn't invite anybody and I also didn't order anything.

I opened the door. And saw a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes standing in from of me. She was soaking wet and still wearing her school clothes.

Morgan.

She didn't say anything. She was standing frozen on the doormat and looked at me. Her eyes wandered at my stomach and back to my face. I was aware my belly was visible. I was wearing a white tank top and trainers.

I offered her to come in and she gladly excepted. She took off her coat and shoes and threw her schoolbag onto the corner next to the door. She was shivering I could see it.

"You wanna take a bath? I have some extra clothes for after", I offered.

She nodded.I showed her where everything was, that she needed and left her alone. She did not utter a word the whole time.

...

I was sitting on the couch when Morgan walked out of the bathroom in some spare clothes I had handed her. She still had wet hair and I offered to brush and dry it. I didn't want her to get sick after all. She agreed.

"So are you ready to talk?", I asked her while I was combing her hair.

"Yes", she said.

"What happened?", I had a clue what could have happened but i was hoping that was not it. If it was then I was going to rage against someone and I had a pretty good idea who.

"I waited an hour in the rain for someone to pick me up, but nobody came", she said

"Let me guess: Tony was responsible for you to get picked up?", I asked to make sure.

She nodded.

"And you walked all the way here?", I was already boiling inside. That son of a bitch!

Morgan nodded. I felt honored that she came to me even though she could've directly walked to the tower. It's only a few blocks away after all.

"It wasn't the first time", Morgan added.

"Yeah, I thought so", I said disappointed. When I though back to all the times I hadn't been picked up I saw the pattern all too well.

"Did it ever happen to you?"

"Every week"

"I think it's because of the party"

"possibly, but that's not an excuse to forget to send somebody to pick you up, or pick you up himself", yeah no it was time that ass learned something from his mistakes.

"What can we do?"

"We're gonna teach him a lesson", I already had a plan in mind. And I didn't care anymore if I was exposing myself.

"Now I'm curious", she turned around as I was finished with her hair. "What's the plan?"

"The Spiders-dame was invited to the party", I say and she smiles. I may had thrown the invite in the trash but I hadn't forgotten it and thankfully not disposed of it either.

"Are you bringing me as a plus one? Or plus two?", she pointed at my stomach.

I chuckled. "I'm gonna have to see if I can hide it in a party dress"

"I think you'll find something to pull that off", she said.

"Yeah I mean I have more than enough fabric. Do you know how long the party lasts?"

"Something until midnight"

I looked at the watch on the wall. 8 p.m. I can work with that. Now I just had to find a pattern that downplayed my pregnancy and a way to cover a bump as much as possible. And a dress for Morgan.

"Congrats by the way", Morgan said while I was doing some final stitches on her dress.

"Thank you", I looked up a bit surprised.

"Hey I just realized: I'm gonna be an aunt"

I laughed. "Ok, come on future aunt, we have to get dressed for a party"

"You know I've never been to one"

"What a coincidence niece or nephew either"

"Now that I think about it, I was probably in Mums womb", she laughed.

"Not just probably"

"Right I forget how old you are already", she joked.

"Hey"

"I'm just saying", she raised her hands defensively.

"You're an aunt soon"

"Yeah an aunt with about as big of an age difference to the baby as you to me", she shot back. Oh she's sassy

"You're your fathers daughter"

"Take that back", she raised her index finger at me.

"No do you wanna try on your dress now or should I go without you?"

"Give me that dress. I'm not missing the show"

"Fair enough" I handed her the dress and got dressed myself. When she opened the door again she said. "Ok I take everything I said about you back. You're awesome"

"I'd hope so"
