It doesn't have to end like this"Then take the shot, Emma." Ray glared into her as filled with anxieties, her hand gripping the gun tighter as he kept staring her down. "Ray..." Hesitation in her voice, Emma couldn't move, his stare kept on for a while. "Take the shot, Emma." He said again with Emma even more anxious than before. "...Ray..." He kept on staring into her eyes, turning to a fiery glare as she stepped back a bit. Tears swelling up in her eyes as Ray kept on repeating the same sentence, over and over and over.
"TAKE THE GODDAMNED SHOT, EMMA!!" He yelled at her until she broke down into tears. "I can't do it...Ray...I can't do it..."
Ray looked down on his former friend, sobbing on the ground, gun far away from their reach. "You're a coward, Emma. You've always were." Walking away from her with his last words spoken, "Goodbye." Then he ran off into the night.
"You son of a bitch...you son of a bitch...Ray."
