4- Familiar

(Ryujins POV)

I played with the blue bracelet that the girl had dropped as I continued my thoughts. Those eyes, I know I've seen them before.

Could it possibly be? It can't be..
Was that really Y/n?

It was nearly midnight, and all of the girls were, for some reason, still awake.

I heard a knock on my door, I told them to come in, and Chaeryeong is revealed standing there. I pat the empty space on my bed next to me as she joins me on my bed.

"Hey, what were you up to?" She asks as she sits down. Still looking at the bracelet in my hand, I say, "I was just thinking.."

"Ryujin-ah, when are you not thinking? The other day, you were staring into space thinking about Y/n."

"Hey! That was only that one time.." I say, furrowing my eyebrows at her.

"And that one time was for a longgg time Ryujin~," She says in a teasing manner.

I glare at her then say, "Anyways, today when I was outside, I bumped into a girl, and she dropped this bracelet." I showed the blue bracelet to Chaeryeong, and she took it from me looking at it, "This looks familiar. Isn't this Y/n's?"

I look at her baffled. there's no way that's hers. It would be a large coincidence if it really was hers. "Hold on, Shin Yuna! Can you come here quickly!" Chaeryeong shouts as we hear footsteps heading towards my room.

The door opens as Yuna has a cookie in her hand and says "Yes unnie?"

Chaeryeong gestures Yuna to get closer and then shows her the bracelet "This, isn't this Y/ns bracelet?" Chaeryeong gives it to Yuna, and she takes a look at it.

"Oh? Yeah, this is Y/ns.. How did you get it?" Yuna says, giving it back to Chaeryeong, who points and looks at me.

"Ryujin unnie had it? How? Y/n never takes it off," Yuna says, surprised as she eats her cookie.

The bracelet is given back to me as I put it on my nightstand, and I explain the whole situation to Yuna.

"What?? Unnie, it's basically destiny. You guys met each other for a second time without even knowing." Yuna says excited.

I look at her and sigh. "But what do I do? Wouldn't it be awkward for me and her to meet? Plus, I still feel bad about making a stain on her shirt." I pout and lean on Chaeryeongs shoulder.

"Didn't she say that you can text her if you still feel bad about the incident?" Chaereyeong says as she pats me on the head.

In which I nod in response, "Then call her, text her Ryujin-ah!" Chaeryeong says as I sit up.

I reply,"Well then, what do I say exactly?"

"Unnie, just say that you still feel bad and just tell her you want to meet up." Yuna says casually,"Unless you want me to text her from my number if that makes it easier."

I shake my head and reply "No no no.. I can do it myself." I grab my phone and text her

Me
Hey, it's me. Do you think we can meet up so I can repay you for the incident.

After a few minutes, she replied,

Y/n
Yeah, sure, I'm kind of
busy this week, I guess, but if you want to meet me for lunch tomorrow, I'll be free.

Me
Lunch sounds good. What time should I meet up with you?

Y/n
Around 2:15, we can meet up at a cafe nearby my work, or we can go somewhere else if you'd like?

Me
No, that's alright. I'll meet you there, we can eat anywhere, I don't mind.

Y/n
Alright then, see you tomorrow, I guess. I'll send you the location of the café.

Me
Okay, thanks, see you tomorrow.

I sigh as I put down my phone as Yuna and Chaeryeong look at me.
"So... What's the plan?" Chaeryeong smiles at me.

"I'm gonna meet her tomorrow for lunch at 2, but now I have no idea what to wear." I groan and plant my head in the pillow.

"Unnie, you don't need to stress. Just wear whatever you want. You look good in everything anyway." Yuna says, comforting me, rubbing my back gently.

"Thanks, Yuna.." I sigh into the pillow, then sit up, brushing my hair back, "I'll figure it out tomorrow, then.. I'm gonna go sleep now."

"Okay... Have fun tomorrow, Ryujin-ah~" Chaeryeong smiles as her and Yuna walk out of my room, turning off the light, and I fall asleep very, very conscious of the next day.

I decided to wear a light blue longsleeved shirt with jeans and white shoes.

I walk out of the dorms as I hear Yuna and Chaeryeong cheering for me. Closing the door behind me, I walk towards the elevator, making my way down outside.

(Y/n POV)

It's 1:45, thank god. It's nearly lunchtime.

I finish off designing the floor plan for the next project, which was going to be a new design of a company, they wanted to expand part of their businesd and I am in charge of the interior design.

Time passed quickly as it was now 2 o'clock. I had to meet up with the girl from the train station. I walked out of my office and made it out of the building. It took a 10-minute walk to get to the café.

I arrived a few minutes early inside waiting for her, it was exactly 2:15 and I heard the ring of the bells when you opened the door.

Revealing a very familiar face, where have I seen her? I know I've seen her before, I tried my best to remember where I last saw her. Then it clicked, she was in JYP, the one who Yuna went to when I dropped her off.

If I think about it, she must've been in that photo with Yuna that I saw on Instagram. She's an idol, she's part of ITZY, how could I have not noticed.

Speaking about noticed, I think she might have known that I was looking at her, we made eye contact, and she seemed like a sense of relief ran through her body when she saw me.

She walked up to me and she said "You're Y/n right?" I looked at her confused. How did she know my name? Did Yuna say anything? I nod and reply. "Yeah.. That's me, how do you know my name?"

"Ah.. Yuna told me." She said as she smiled with her eyes, god she so fine. I look at her, and I notice an indigo bracelet on her wrist, that- isnt that mine? Why does she have it?

"Oh right," she says as she reaches for her wrist taking off the bracelet and holds it out towards me, "This, this is yours, you dropped it when I bumped into you at the train station.." I blinked a few times to refusing to believe that she is the same girl I bumped into. I must be dumb or something.

"You were the girl I bumped into?" I asked as I took the bracelet back from her. She nodded and then chuckled, "Yeah, it's kinda weird, I think I was also there when you dropped Yuna off."

"Wow.. That really is weird. The world is really small." I replied she smiled again and then said,"Yeah, it really is. Anyways, my name is Shin Ryujin, if you haven't figured it out already." Damn that smile could really kill me. Her duality is insane.

I look at her and smile lightly, "So, my lunch break is an hour and thirty minutes. Where do you want to eat?"
She looks at me with that same smile, showing her whisker dimples,

"Anywhere you'd like Y/n."
