43 - They Love You

(Y/n POV)

I feel a vibration under the pillow, my hand moving under to find the source of the vibration.

I finally grab the phone that's buzzing, it's Ryujins alarm going off yet she's still in a deep slumber.

I turn off the alarm and go over to the bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and wash my face.

I return to the bed to see Ryujin still sleeping, I gently place a kiss on her lips and attempt to wake her up.

"Ryujin, baby, it's time to get up." I say softly tapping her on the shoulder in which she groans in response.

"Baby, you'll be late for practice if you don--" I was cut off by a sudden ringtone, someone was calling my girlfriend.

I pick up Ryujin's phone to see Yeji unnie calling.

I answer it, "unnie?"

"Oh Y/n?" She pauses, "is Ryujin with you?"

"Yeah, but she's still sleeping, don't you guys have a schedule today?"

"Everything got cancelled today for some reason, I don't know why but I was just calling Ryujin to let her know." Yeji unnie says slowly.

"Oh okay, well I'll let her know then." I reply.

"Alright thank you, also you guys should look at the news together when you get the time. You're all over the headlines." She says, before we both say our goodbyes and she ends the call.

As I put my phone down, I feel a pair of eyes staring at me. I turn to Ryujin to see her gazing up at me as she lays down.

"Oh. Morning baby." I say smiling at her.

She groans and rubs her eyes before sitting up, "morning my love." She says with a deep voice.

I gently pull her close by her shirt, placing a kiss on her soft lips, feeling her smile into the kiss.

I let go of her and she keeps eye contact with me, then takes my hand to hold it.

"Y/n, why are you so beautiful?"

I feel heat rushing up to my cheeks, I can tell they're already pink. She always says these kind of things at random moments and each time they catch me off guard. I hate it but I love it.

We could be talking in the most serious situation and she decides to compliment me or start to flirt with me, no matter what it is, I would somehow end up being flustered by her words.

"Ryujin.. I'm really not." I reply slowly.

She rolls her eyes and pecks my lips, "yes you are." She pauses, "you might not realise it, but you are so beautiful Y/n. You have a certain charm that made me fall for you."

I smile and move to hug her, "and what would that charm be hm?" I look at her.

She gently moves away and holds my chin with two fingers as she stares at me.

"Just you being you." She smiles making me laugh, "I love how you still get shy when I compliment you, although we've been together for a long time now." Ryujin giggles as I fall into her arms burying my head by her neck.

Ryujin gently rubs my back as I hesitantly move away from her embrace.

"Oh right." I pause, "the whole reason why I woke you up was because--"

"Because I need to leave soon and you miss me?" She raises an eyebrow at me.

"The second part yes, but you're not leaving me. Yeji unnie said practice is cancelled so we can stay together today." I say as I watch a bright smile tug against her lips.

"So that means we get a day to ourselves?" Ryujin raises an eyebrow as she smiles.

"I mean, unless there something else you want to do?" I reply.

She shakes her head, "I want to spend the whole day with you, nobody else." Ryujin gently pecks my lips and I keep her close by tugging on her shirt.

Ryujin eventually moves to hover over me as she continues to scatter kisses around my face before moving to my neck making me giggle at the amount of affection she's spoiling me in.

"Ryujin-ah" I laugh, she moves away to make eye contact with me giving me a 'what' kind of look as I speak, "why are you so affectionate today?"

She rolls her eyes playfully as I sit up then she cups my cheeks, "well why wouldn't I? Especially when I have someone like you here with me?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"You know what I mean, I've said it so many times before. I'm head over heels for you Y/n." She says as she gets up from the bed, "come on my love let's get up now." She holds out her hand to help me up.

Currently in the living room, sitting on the couch after we have just ate a brunch. I picked out a few movies to watch since it's raining outside, Ryujin is sitting beside me on her phone as I look for another movie to watch.

"Y/n, have you seen this article?" Ryujin says passing me her phone as she rests her head on my shoulder.

I take her phone and read the article title out loud, "Fans are obsessed with the relationship between Ryujin and her girlfriend Y/n."

I scroll through the article reading every part, it must be the news Yeji unnie was telling me to read earlier this morning, it must've slipped my mind.

Fans are obsessed with the relationship between Ryujin and her girlfriend Y/n.

Just yesterday, the couple had a surprise V-live and fans went crazy throughtout the live because of their interactions between eachother.

During the live Y/n had surprised Ryujin -after a long day of practice- with the fans who had joined the live. Ryujin continued to show affection and love to Y/n during the live and fans are so grateful that the Itzy member is in a happy and healthy relationship.

Fans and K-netizens are also obsessed with Y/n as they are mesmerised by her ethereal beauty, one netizen quoted, 'no wonder ryujin fell in love with y/n, shes beautiful!!' Fans and K-netizens don't know whether to consider Ryujin or Y/n lucky.

"It seems like the fans really love you Y/n." Ryujin says next to me.

I look towards her and smile, "it seems like they do." I pause, "but I love that they do, it means that they support us."

Ryujin nods and smiles, "watch when they find out you're Irene unnie sister, they'll go crazy." She laughs as I feel my phone vibrating on my lap.

Both of our attention is turned to my phone as I pick up the phone to see my sister calling, "how ironic, look who it is." I say as we both laugh and I answer the phone.

"Joohyun unnie, how can I help you?" I say putting my phone to my ear.

(this was meant to be out yesterday but oh well whats done is done, have a good rest of today :) )
