46- Where Are You?

(Y/n POV)

I woke up to a slight breeze brushing against my skin. Rubbing my eyes and looking around to find Ryujin is nowhere to be seen.

Was last night all a fever dream?

I grab my phone to check the time, it's about 9 o'clock. I've got work soon, I should get ready.

Walking over to the bathroom to have a shower and brush my teeth, after about half an hour I go to the wardrobe to pick an outfit.

It's now 10:00 exactly, time to leave.

A few hours of office work and meetings had gone by quickly, I'm on my lunch break now and I wonder what Ryujin is up to.

I take my phone out my pocket and start to call her, it rings a few times but she doesn't pick up.

She must be in practice or something.

I go to call her again but this time it goes straight to voicemail. Just a few seconds ago it let me ring her, but this time it doesnt?

I try to shrug it off, thinking that everything will be alright and she's just busy, so I let it go.

I decide to get lunch on my own, going to the nearby restaurant and ordering a take away to eat at my office.

"Can I get one of those please?" I point to something on the menu.

"Sure, anything else?" The womam replies.

I shake my head, "no thank you.."

"So your total will be 12.50," she says.

I pay for my food then wait by the side for it to be ready.

Walking back towards into my office I put the food down on the table and begin to eat as I look through my instagram.

I hear a knock at my door so I get up to open it, I see one of my co-workers standing there.

"Yes?"

"Oh.. Miss Bae, the head of department wants to have a meeting at the end of the lunch break." She says slowly.

"Alright thank you for letting me know." I say before she bows slightly and walks away.

Is it just me or is today, just not it. I for some reason have less energy than I would and feel like something bad is going to happen.

Finally getting off work, it felt like it was never going to end. I decide to visit the Itzy girls at their company since they would still be there at this time.

I drive over to their company and park my bike, taking off my helmet I decide to call Yuna, since Ryujin isn't picking up.

Dialling her number it rings a few times, before I hear a voice, "Y/n unnie!"

"Oh hey Yuna," I reply.

"Unnie what's up, why'd you call?" She asks with the same bubbly voice.

"I was wondering if you guys were still at the company, so I can drop by and see you." I say.

"Yep!" She pauses, "we're in our usual practice room so if you wanna drop by you can."

"Alright perfect, I'll see you soon."

"Okay bye unnie!" She says as I hang up on the phone.

I get off my bike and lock it before walking into the building.

Going up to their usual practice room, I go over to the door and push it open.

I look in the reflection of the mirror to see only four girls sitting. I walk over to them and they pull me into a tight hug.

Yuna, Lia, Chaeryeong, Yeji and... Where is Ryujin?

They let go of me and I look around to see if Ryujin is hiding somewhere, but she's nowhere.

"Where's Ryujin?" I look at them.

They exchange glances between eachother before Lia unnie speaks, "she left early, I think she went back to the dorms."

"Oh?" I reply slightly worried.

"Why unnie, it there a problem?" Yuna asks.

"I haven't seen her all day and she hasn't answered any of my calls.." I reply slowly.

"That's weird, she was using her phone when we were here.." Yeji unnie says, "in fact she was using it when she left."

So she's ignoring me on purpose. Right. I see how it is.

"Unnie, do you think you can try call her?" I ask Yeji unnie.

"Yeah, sure I can." She says and grabs her phone, we wait a few seconds before she puts her phone to her ear.

Just waiting for something.

"Ryujin-ah.." Yeji unnie says.

She puts the phone on speaker so we can all hear what's happening, putting a finger over her lips as Yeji tells us to be quiet.

"Yes unnie?" I hear Ryujin across the phone.

"Where are you right now?" Yeji asks.

"Right now I'm at--" Ryujin was cut off by an unfamiliar voice in the background.

"Ryujin, come here quickly.."

"I- I'm at the dorms.. Why?" She stutters.

Liar. Why is she lying? Who was that and where the hell is she?

I roll my eyes knowing that she's obviously somewhere else, with someone else.

"Okay.. I was just checking up on you that's all." Yeji unnie says slowly.

"Alright unnie, see you later then." Ryujin says before she quickly hangs up.

"Unnie.. Who was that?" I look at Yeji unnie.

She instantly pulls me into a hug and she replies, "Y/n.. Just breathe okay, stay here for as long as you need."

"I found her location.." Chaeryeong says as she holds her phone up.

"How did you--" Lia unnie gets cut off.

"Ryujin shares her location with me for some reason, Y/n here." She says giving her phone to me, "you can use it until you find her."

Yeji unnie lets go of me before I look at her phone. I have no idea where this is.

I get up and grab my helmet, "thank you girls for your help, I'll call you to tell you what happens."

They all nod and say their good byes to me as I walk out.

I put on my helmet as I approach my bike, Shin Fucking Ryujin. Who the hell are you with.
