32 - Work

(Time Skip next morning, Y/n POV)

I wake up to the smell of some sort of food being cooked in the kitchen. I slowly get out of bed quickly washing my face and brushing my teeth in the bathroom.

I walk out my bedroom to Yeri unnie cooking some food. Still tired I go to join her sitting on a seat by the counter.

"Oh Y/n you're awake?" She glances at me and smiles.

I nod slowly and ask, "what time did Mark leave this morning?" I say looking around as I can't find him anywhere.

"He left really early at like 7am, he said he had to get ready for practice." Yeri unnie replied.

I nod slowly and she turns off the stove, putting a plate in front of me with pancakes and eggs on top.

I thank her for preparing breakfast and we start to eat.

"So do you have any plans for today?" She looks up to me from her plate.

"Yeah.. I'm planning to visit Ryujin at her practice later after work, she wants to have a meeting with JYP later aswell."

Yeri unnie hums, "just be careful okay, I don't want anything bad happening to you."

I chuckle, "don't worry unnie, nothing bad will happen.."

"I know, but some fans are like crazy obssessed over your girlfriend.. So just take care." She says worriedly.

"Yes unnie I will.." I reassure her.

After about an hour or so I start to get ready for work. For now my manager has been telling me I'm getting a lot of offers to be a model for many companies, so most of my work recently have just been photoshoots.

I had already informed my boss at my architecture job that I could only work part-time because of this and he happily agreed for me to do so.

I put on some presentable clothes for the photoshoot and finish making my hair look nice before walking out the bedroom.

I see Yeri unnie sitting on the couch watching a movie on the tv and she turns to me when I close me bedroom door.

"Are you going to work?" She asks, in which I nod in reply, "photoshoot or no?"

"I've got a shoot today, until 4 i think.." I say slowly.

"Is your manager going to pick you up?" She asks another question.

"Yeah, he said he'll be here in like 5 to 10 minutes.."

"Okay, stay safe Y/n~" she says giving me a bright smile.

"Yes unnie I will." I say walking out the door to see my managers car.

I walk towards the car to see the window rolling down revealing a woman sitting in the drivers seat. Confused, I pause and stop walking.

Clearly understanding my confusion she laughs then opens her door and steps out walking towards me.

"Hello Y/n, it's nice to meet you." She says holding out her hand.

I gently shake it and she continues, "I'm your new manager, your other one decided to leave for personal reasons. But other than that I hope we get along well." She smiles at me.

"Oh.. Okay, I- I just wasn't expecting to see someone new, that's all." I say slowly.

She laughs once more and replies, "no worries but anyways I should introduce myself, I am Minjung, Kim Minjung. But you can call me whatever you're comfortable with."

I nod slowly then she turns towards the car, "should we go?"

"Yeah sure, wouldn't want to be late.." I say.

We both get into the car and she starts to drive while she talks, "so I should probably run you through the schedule of today."

She continues to talk about todays plan and what will happen throughout the day, "so you're off at work by 4 like promised and I'll pick you up later again after the shoot." She says pulling into a parking spot at the venue.

"Okay thanks and about picking me up, you don't have to.." I reply taking off my seatbelt.

"I insist, I can drop you off anywhere you need to be after.." She smiles at me.

"Uh.. Okay sure since you're offering." I reply slowly.

"Okay, so I'll see you again at 4 then. Have a good day Y/n." Minjung says.

I nod and leave the car walking into the building.

I greet the staff like usual and the director tells me what we need to go through today.

I follow what he says and quickly prepare for the shoot to begin.

It's finally 4 o'clock. Like promised I would visit Ryujin after my work so I start to gather my belongings and say my goodbyes and thank yous to the staff and people that helped.

I walk out the building to see my managers car waiting outside.

I quickly go over to the car opening the door and sitting in the seat.

"How was it?" She turns around to look at me.

I sigh, "not too bad, but I'm quite tired."

"So I'm guessing I'm taking you home?" She turns back around.

"O-oh no.. I actually need to see someone." I say slowly.

"Ah alright, no problem. Where do you need to be?"

"JYP entertainment, the main building.." I reply.

She started to drive towards JYP as promised and she began to talk once more, "if you don't mind me asking.. Who is it that you're visiting?"

I laugh slightly as I look out the window, "my girlfriend.."

"Oh. Oh wow. I-is she an idol or.." Minjung asks.

"Yeah, yeah she is." I reply.

"I honestly never expected it, but it must be hard to see eachother right?" She says slowing down as she looks for a parking spot.

"Yep, definitely is. She's been busy with work and stuff so yeah.."

She parks the car and she turns to me smiling, "we're here, it was nice meeting you for the first time Y/n."

I smile back at her to be polite, "you too." I pause, "then.. I'll go, see you soon." I say opening the door and stepping out the car.

As I approach the building I turn to see the car leaving and I continue to walk towards JYP

I enter the building and as I was about to call Ryujin I see someone ringing my phone as it vibrates in my hand.
