9 - More About You

(Ryujin POV)

If I die today, you can blame it all on Y/n. Hearing her deep voice in the morning was quite enough for me, I was not expecting it at all when she had called Yuna.

I could hear all the commotion in the back Chaeryeong catching up with
Y/n and Yuna complaining like always. Yuna introduced Yeji and Lia unnie to Y/n in which turned into a conversation about birthdays for some reason.

I wasn't paying much attention until I heard my name as Yeji unnie said "You're quite far from Ryujins birthday then.." I soon hear Y/n respond "Whens hers?" I didn't need or want to look at Y/n while she asked so I just replied "April 17th.." And carried on watching whatever was on the tv.

Soon after Yuna ended up complaining again, why I wasn't speaking to Y/n. To make her happy I turned around and greeted Y/n then turned back to watch the movie that was playing.

I heard footsteps get closer then I felt a weight on the back of the couch "What about that movie makes you so interested that you don't want to talk to me, hmm?" I heard a calm voice say above me. I dared not to look up as I could feel her gaze from her. Then I replied, "It's a crime movie, obviously it's going to be interesting..."

My heart was about to beat out of my chest at any second. I glance to the right side, her hands were leaning on the couch, I see that her eyes were attached to the screen, I quickly look away as she tilts her head slightly thinking that she was going to catch me looking at her.

"Y/n-ah, sit down instead of just standing there." I hear Chaeryeong say, I feel the weight release as Y/n speaks, "Yeah... Just give me aa second." I can still feel her presence behind me as I continue to watch the movie. I can't concentrate with her being right there.

"Unnie~ I'm hungry, is there anything to eat?" I hear Yuna whine as Yeji replies "I can make something if you want, Y/n-ah have you eaten?"
"No.. Well, I haven't eaten lunch, I only ate something light when I woke up." Y/n says, I hear some shuffling in the kitchen then Yeji unnie says "In that case, I'll make something, nobody has eaten lunch either."

After a 45 minutes or something it's gotten much quieter than it was before, I'm no longer in the living room, I'm sitting in my room where there is peace and quiet and I can do whatever I want.

I hear a knock at my door then I say "You can come in," the door opens slightly revealing Y/n as she says, "Hey, Yeji unnies calling you.." I look at her then ask "What for?" Y/n opens the door further then says "I don't know she just said for me to get you." I blink a few times then reply, "Sure, just give me a minute or something." Y/n smiles slightly then closes my door again.

I walk out my room shortly after her seeing everyone, gathered around the coffee table sitting on the seats. Confused, I ask "What are you guys doing?" Chaeryeong looks at me then says, "Y/n came over to visit us so we're gonna do some bonding." She smiles then Yuna pats the empty space next to her, I go over and sit next to Yuna.

Yeji unnie then brings over some of the food that she made and they start to chat.

"Okay, so Y/n I have a question for you.." Lia unnie says as she turns to
Y/n, Y/n looks at Lia unnie as Lia speaks, "This morning.. Were you the one that called Yuna?" Y/n laughed then said "Yeah.. Yeah that was me, my voice sounded weird because I had just woken up."

Then Yuna said, "But you sounded like, really really tired." Y/n scoffed then said, "Oh, that was because yesterday I had Yeri unnie come over and she brought over soju so yeah.." Yeji quickly looked at Y/n then said surprised, "Yeri.. As in Red Velvet?"
Y/n nodded in response and some of the girls gasped. Then Y/n said confused "What? why are you guys surprised?"

Then Yeji unnie replied, "How do you know them? Are you guys friends or did you just meet?" Y/n raised an eyebrow then her face changed to a face of realisation as she spoke, "Ahh, no no, I'm not just friends with them.. Well I am, but my sister Irene unnie is y'know.." Lia unnies eyes were wide open as she said "Your Irene sunbaenims sister?"

Y/n nods slowly then says, "Yeah.. I'm Bae Y/n she's Bae Joohyun.." Yeji unnie took a few seconds to process what Y/n had just said before speaking, "I didn't know that, I had no clue.." Y/n laughs then shakes her head, "No no, it's fine.. People say that a lot because Joohyun unnie is a very private person, so they don't know she has a sister."

Yeji and Lia nod then Yeji says, "Yuna, Chaeryeong did you know about this." The two girls smile and nod then Yuna says, "I think I met Irene unnie one time.." Lia turns her head to Yuna and says "When? When did you meet her?" Yuna thinks about it for a second then says, "Uhm.. I think Y/n unnie was helping me study and she dropped by for a few minutes then left.."

Yeji gasps then says "Wow.. I still can't believe it." Y/n smiles then says "ah.. I don't think it's that.. Cool, is it?" She said as she made eye contact with me, she stared right into my eyes, tilting her head slightly before lightly smirking. I quickly looked away so that I wouldn't turn red and lean my head on Yunas shoulder trying to play it off.

A few more hours passed by it was now 7:26, the girls had gotten more comfortable with Y/n, since I hadn't talked much I decided to head off to my room and relax on my bed. The chatter continues as I check my messages and other socials.

A few minutes pass by and I hear a knock at my door, I tell them to come in. It's Y/n at the door, she walks in then joins me on my bed as she looks at me, "Hey are you okay? You haven't been talking much the whole day."

I put my phone down then say slowly, "Yeah.. I'm alright." Trying not to stutter I clear my throat, then she says "You know you're really different than when we went out for lunch." Maybe if you weren't like this I would've talked more, "oh.. I don't know, today I'm feeling more tired than usual, maybe that's why."

Y/n nods then says, "No, it's alright." She scoffs, "I get that sometimes, also you're an idol so I can see why it would happen." We sit in a comfortable silence for a few seconds before I move to get my laptop so I can continue a series that I'm watching.

I go onto the website I use then pick out the series, it's an anime series I like called Horimiya, (if you like anime you should watch if you havent already,) it's a cute romance series that one of then fans told me to watch so I gave it a chance and it was really cute.

Y/n moved slightly closer so she could also see what I was watching, we both sat in silence watching the episodes play.

(Y/n POV)

I was watching Horimiya with Ryujin, I had already watched it but I wouldn't mind to watch it again and the way the story flows is nicr it makes it even better.

I carry on watching as I soon feel a weight on my lap, she's fallen asleep. I slowly move to close the laptop so there's less light in her eyes, then pull out my phone turning down the volume as I scroll through Instagram and Pinterest while she lays on my lap.

After a few minutes I feel her move slightly, she raises her head and brushes her hair back, "Was I sleeping?" She asks rubbing her eyes. I reply "Yeah you were." She groans then says, "I'm still tired.." I smile softly then say "I should leave and let you be then." I start to get up until I feel her tug on my shirt.

"No.. Stay for a bit Y/n..."
