13 - Meeting Them

(Y/n POV)

"Y/n-ah, why did you take so long? I've been standing here for like half an hour now."

I hear Joohyun unnie say, then Yeri unnie adds on, "Us too Y/n!" I see Yeri unnie and Seulgi unnie standing behind my sister waving at me.

I blink a few trying to process what is happening. I already have people over, what do I do? I gather the as many words as I can and reply, "uhm, I- I actually have people over right now.."

Joohyun unnie shakes her head then says, "It's fine, we are your family- well I am these two they don't really count." She says jokingly.

I feel a hand on my my waist then a voice behind me, "Who is it? Oh, you're Y/n's sister..."

Irene unnie tilts her head then says, "You- you're from ITZY aren't you?"

I hear Ryujin reply, "yeah... That's me.."

"Y/n I didn't know you're friends with the girls." Seulgi unnie says.

I hear another voice behind me, "Oh.. Yeri unnie and Joohyun unnie?"

"Yuna? Your here too?" Yeri unnie replies.

"Anyways, Y/n.. I think you should let them in instead of blocking the door." Ryujin says pulling me back by my waist.

The Red Velvet unnies walk in taking off their jackets and shoes, I feel a large amount of awkwardness filling the room, the tension is wayyy too much for me right now. I should probably break the ice.

"Unnies, these are my friends. I think you've met Yuna before so you should be familiar with her," I put my hand on Ryujins shoulder, "This is Ryujin, I met her through Yuna.. She's also in ITZY."

Ryujin bows and greets them. The unnies bow back then Seulgi unnie says, "Ryujin.. Didn't you cover NCT Boss with other girls?"

Ryujin nods and says surprised, "oh- did you watch the performance?"

Seulgi unnie nods, "yeah yeah, it was really good, your dancing is like- how do I explain this, I think powerful? And very cool." Seulgi unnie smiles and give Ryujin a thumbs up.

Ryujin smiles brightly, "Thank you so much, that means a lot to me." She grabs the back of my shirt and tugs it lightly out of excitement. She must really look up to Seulgi unnie.

"So, Y/n what were you doing before we came over." Joohyun unnie asks.

"I was actually cooking some pasta and I- RYUJIN THE PASTA!" I say as I had just remembered.

I rush to the kitchen and Ryujin follows behind, I hear laughters coming from the girls, I quickly turn off the stove and put the pasta into a colander. "Yah, Shin Ryujin! I asked to to take care of the food! The pasta is overcooked it's gonna be soggy now!"

She laughs then apologizes, "Sorry sorry, my bad.. I got curious at who was at the door."

"You don't say Ryujin..." I reply sarcastically as I put the pasta into a bowl, I sigh in frustration "You had one job Ryujin-ah.."

She laughs again and says, "I know I know~ My bad, I forgot about it, we can make another one, just forgive me please." She says between laughs as she hugs me tightly.

"No get off me.." I say pushing her away from me.

She whines, "Y/n-ah pleaseee." She blinks her eyes like a puppy.

I look down at her and cup her face, "You know I forgive you, it's just fun to tease you like this." I watch as her cheeks turn light pink and quickly move away from me.

"Are you guys like dating or something?" I hear a voice by the door of the kitchen.

"That's what I think most of the time, I've been third wheeling the whole day unnie." Yuna says looking at Yeri unnie.

"OoOohh~ Y/n~ you like Ryujin don't youuu." Yeri unnie says teasingly.

I look at her in disbelief, "Unnie, are you still drunk from last time?"

She laughs then says, "Noo.. But the way you were acting with Ryujin was kinda y'knowww."

"Fruity, Y/n she thinks you're fruity." Joohyun unnie says.

"Unnie, you say that like you aren't with Seulgi unnie. Don't try it." I reply.

The girls laugh and she replies, "Yahh!! Come over here!" She yells, I quickly run past her and hear her footsteps chasing behind me.
"BAE Y/N GET BACK HERE!!"

I hear more laughter coming from the girls, and I hide next to Seulgi unnie, "Y/n are you okay, why is she chasing you?" I shake my head and put a finger on my lips telling her to be quiet. She nods and stays silent.

"Where is this child? Y/N!" She walks past me and I slyly get up from my spot, quietly walking behind her before tickling her sides she screams i shock and pushes me away as I laugh.

"Y/n! What the hell is wrong with you!" She says in disbelief.

I laugh and apologise, "Sorry unnie, I jus- I just had to, I saw the opportunity and I took it." I say in between giggles.

She hits me playfully and says, "Watch next time, I'll get you back for sure."

"I'm sure you will unnie, don't worry." I replied sarcastically, giving her a thumbs up.

She rolls her eyes at me and says, "You owe me a tteokbokki for a week Y/n." I nod and accept my consequences, I knew she would say something like that, I mean we're siblings so what do you expect. Although we have quite a big age gap between us we are much closer than you think.

Joohyun unnie becomes very childish when I'm with her, and I can definitely tell the difference when she's with the members and me. I don't mean it in a bad way but I suppose she's more 'responsible' or 'mature' with Red Velvet.

After fixing the pasta, Joohyun unnie calming down. We all sat talked for a while as a movie was playing in the background. Everyone was now comfortable with eachother and we no longer had to sit in an awkward silence.

"Unnies I'm bored can we do something?" Yuna said as we all turned to her with a 'what?' kind of face.

"I think we should play a game, so we can know eachother better." She suggests yet again.

"Sure, I don't mind." Seulgi unnie says.

"Yeah sure, I think it'll be fun. But what are we gonna play?" Yeri unnie adds.

"Why don't we play a game of Truth or Dare, if you don't want to tell the truth you have to do a dare." Yuna implies.

"Well, then since we just got used to eachother, this should be interesting." Ryujins says as she stares intently into my eyes.

For godsake, something is about to happen to me I just know it's bound to happen.
